**Niall's POV**

I heard myself subconcously grunt as the blinding sun's light streamed through my open windows. Throwing my duvet over head in an attempt to block out the blonding light, I found myself thinking about last night at the carnival with Louis.
"Louis, do you think you should be having another?" I stared up from my seat at a picnic table at my extremey tipsy friend, questioning his ability to drive in the future.
"'Course matey!" He chirped. Definetly wasted.
"How many is that?" I recalled him having his first and sceond beers, but after that, the bottles began to slur together.
"Errrr..." Louis's face scruntched in concentration as his fingers flipped of his bottle one by one. One. Two. Four. Second hand. Six. Seven. Nine. He held his fingers up for me to see, a drunken smile plastered in his face. "Nine man! Eye've only had nine!" I nodded and forced a smile, not without noting the slurrs in his words becoming more and more evident.
I was not having fun. At all. I may seem fine, but in the inside I was curled into a ball, laying in a dark corner of my house, crying for all that I had messed up. Everything at the carnival reminded me of Kylie. The green, pink, and blue flashing lights. The Ferris Wheel. The abundance of pink cotton candy. The giggling little girls, riding their dad's backs, their pig tails bouncing with every step he took. The giant bears given away as prizes. The "Best Shot!" basketball game.
"Please Niall! PPPLLLEEEASSEEEE! Please do it for me? Please?" Kylie tugged my arm pointing in the direction of some basketball shooting game.
"Why Kylieee?" I mocked her voice and locked our hands in each others.
"Because I want one of those big teddy bearsss Niallerrrr!" I chuckled and nodded my apprival, earning a happy sqeal to pour from her mouth. "Yay! Love you baby." She cooed as we made our way towards the carnival game.
"Love you too sweetheart." We walked up to the fence surrounding the court and listened on as the game worker explained how to win.
"It's really easy to win. All you have to do is shoot from any or all of these points," He saided in a monotoned voice gesturing to all the spots around the Key marked with X's. "Making at least 10 baskets within the 3 minute timer and you win. The more baskets you make the bigger the prize."
A big sloppy, wet kiss my planted on my cheek and a sweet giggle soon followed. I turned to face Kylie with a cheeky grin from ear to ear. "GO get 'em babe." She said as she playfully shoved me inside the fenced court.
An uncharacterized giggle flowed from in front of me to flood my ears. Still lost in memory, my had snapped up at the somewhat familiar laugh. "Kylie? I asked hopefulyy, still in a daze.
"No silly! It's me! Arianna!" Arianna chirped from beside Louis' side, taking a swig out of his bottle.
"Heyy-yahh!" Louis whined as Arianna began to take another gulp of the cool liquid. "That's mine babe!"
Arianna pulled the bottle away from her lips and smiled at her boyfriend. "I know baby! That's why I'm drinking some. Wouldn't want you to have all the fun now would we?" Louis shook his head and opened his mouth to reply but I didn't hear what was said. I tuned them out. As much as I love them, I had too.
