**Kylie's POV**

"Niall?" I asked, staring at the blond headed boy, looking as if I were a deer caught in headlights that came by suprise.
"That's my name!" He chirped filling my vacant arms with his body.
"I thought you weren't coming home for another 2 weeks?" I felt my breath hitch in my throat as it usually does as he nuzzles his face into my neck, sending the warm tingly feeling coursing through my body that I missed so much.
"I missed you princess, so I came home early." NIall rocked us back and forth and finally unraveled himself from me, muhc to my disliking.
"I missed you too, but I didn't want you to worry about me on your trip!"
"Awe baby, That's what I doo best!" I heard myself giggle, but didn't think much about it. He was back! Niall was actually back! I missed him, not that I would admit it to anyone but him, but I did. He never left me for more than a week at a time, and a month was a long time away.. "Want to watch a movie Kylie?" He asked, heading to the red suade couch already knowing my answer. I nodded to the back of his head and plooped down on the couch as he put the DVD into the DVD player.
I smiled. 'The Notebook' roled across the screen.
I snuggled into Niall's chest and whisered into the fabric. "I missed you."
"Niall." I breathed, still unable to comprehend the sight infront of me. Niall's normally perfectly placed locks, dioriented and natty. His normally vibrant blue eyes, faded. His posture, slumped over, looking in defeat. His normally cheery, happy go lucky persona, replaced by that of an old man attending his high school sweetheart's funeral. He changed since the last time I saw him only a few weeks ago.
"Kylie! Is it Cooper?" Rylee walked up to the door looking for Cooper but saw the same as I. Her face fell, recognizing the face from the picture beside my bed. The one I broke down in front of seeing while unpacking. "Oh, uhhh, Hi. I'm Rylee, Kylie's roomate." She offered her hand to Niall in a friendly gesture, hesitated, and pulled it back realizing it would only make the situation more awkward for everyone.
Niall pryed his trained eyes off my face and moved them to her, smiling weakly. "Hey. I'm Niall, Kylie's uhh friend."
"Yeah, friend." Rylee murmured under her breath. "Well I'm gonna go find Cooper. Yeah, uhhh bye." She placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder and strode past Niall, gunning it down the hallway.
"Look Kylie-"
"What are you doing here Niall?" Lips pulled tight, face that shows no emotion. Not the happiness to finally see him in person. Not the overwhelming saddness and depresion building up inside as the memories I tried so hard to block out came rushing back. Nothing.
"I, uhh, came to apologize."
No expressin. No reaction. A blank face. He didn't deserve one.
"Look Kylie! I messed up! I know I did!"
"Yeah, Niall. You did didn't you?" I sounded ruder than I had meant to, but what else am I supposed to say? Am I supposed to say 'Oh no Niall! It's okay that you cheated on me! It's okay that you throw away everything we had for some girl who broke your heart in the first place! Lets go back to the way we were before!' No. That's what he wanted me to say. But I'm stronger than that, I have to be stronger than that.
