It was 6 am, the slightest wind blew through the town like a relief from the warm night and granted a means of awakening to the small trace of blond hair by the window.
Link woke up, stretched and looked out the window. Shops were getting ready to open and the cuckoo sang its few last notes as the sun rose slightly higher on the horizon.Fay had agreed to go with Link on helping him recover his memories, and possibly start the journey of a life time.
Yet, her bed said other wise.Link looked over to the small bundle that stirred at his own waking up, and with a smile, Fay greeted the young man.
"Morning Link," she yawned, "Should I start breakfast and make something to take on the road?"
Link hesitated. The young lady did have some of the towns best cooking, but he felt he should make her something for once.
"Actually, I was thinking of making something instead," he said as the purple haired girl looked at him, "since I got here, you've been so nice. I wanted to return the favor."
She smiled and nodded, "Great, gives me time to pack my things and stock up in arrows."
Link smiled, watching Fay start for the closet.
She really has been nice, I just hope she doesn't think I'm too straightforward.
Link slightly frowned at the thought, something in his memories was still fuzzy.
If this Zelda was really waiting at Hyrule Castle, and if what he has heard is true, he would have no time for levity. And yet, here he was, trying to recover his own memories, and what happened 100 years back.Whoever this Zelda was,she must have tremendous patience and humility to allow him such a privilege of himself.
Fay managed to shake the man of his thoughts, a bit concerned after the second time of calling his name.
"Link...?" She called, lightly tapping his shoulder.
The blond jumped slightly, relaxing at the sight of the girl contrary to her facial expression.
"I said I will be back. I'm just going to grab something from the store. I trust you will be making the breakfast then?"
Link nodded, silently getting up and getting ready.
Fay watched the man in slight fear. In the small time of knowing Link, he was a sweet man, but very frightening when pensive and quiet.
Who knew what went on behind those cerulean eyes, and what he may think after 100 years.Faylana shook off the thought and left, slightly hesitating the step down, and walking towards the General Store.
Maybe Ivee would hear me out.

Upon arriving at the store, a short walk away, Fay caught Ivee sweeping the front.
"Morning Fay!" She smiled, hugging her lightly, "How's your company? Could he be your type?"
The girl giggled, gaining a slight push from Fay.
"As if! He was just staying for the night." Fay started, Ivee still smirking, " ... and may have asked if I wanted to join him in his journey."
The short haired female squeemed in delight, dropping her broom as she grabbed Fay's hands.
"Don't you get it?! He asked you on something personal! Something tells me he likes you Fay!"
Faylana grew a dark red, slightly scowling at thought.
"I-it's not like that Ivee!" She protested, "Besides,I think he may already be taken by someone much better." She stated bluntly, trying not to look so solemn.
