The next morning, Link and Fay had gone down to the entrance of the Zora's province, with Fay stashing a few items from the ground.
"You may need them later!" Link reassured her as they made their decent, "Trust me, I've had a few... instances I needed them."
Upon leaving, they crossed two people. One was a tan lady with a shield and a sack filled with belongings.
"I'm on my way to find the Voe of my life," she said in a slightly deep, mature voice, "And it seems you have found one of your own." She concluded with a chuckle, walking up the path the duo had just come down from."Voe?" Fay asked.
"Judging by her last remark," Link sighed, "I think she means a man or at least a..."
"Boyfriend?" Fay finished, looking at Link who stared back. With a quick turn of their heads, they shuddered and chuckled,
"I guess this will be a long running joke with us then?" Fay smiled.
Link only sighed in exasperation, continuing down the path.
Their second encounter was with a traveling merchant.
"Link," Fay frowned, "Something feels off here.""He's just selling bananas." Link answered, the man smiling rather coldly behind him "But, I dont think we could buy so much." He answered the man.
"Ah, well then," he smiled, "I hope you come back later...." he paused, smirking coldly.
"That's a lie that's as slippery as a banana peel."With a quick change in demeanor, he scowled as he changed into a red outfit,
"For the bana- I Mean, THE BOSS!"Faylana ran up to Link, shielding him with her wooden Bokoblin shield as the man slashed his sickle into it instead of Link's chest.
"I warned you," Fay growled, as the man teleported to their side, once again blocking and preforming a perfect shield parry, "Don't touch him!"
Fay thrusted her newly acquired Throwing Spear into the man's chest, sending him flying back as he gasped,
"THIS ISN'T OVER YET!" He threatened, disappearing in a puff of smoke.
Fay sighed, setting her things back and looking back at Link who just smirked at her.
"What?" Fay asked.
Link shrugged, walking past her.
"Oh nothing, just remembering that someone had thought that she wouldn't be of help in my travels?" He teased, leaving Fay in a small state of flustered frustration."Only because you didn't listen to me," she said, pulling the blonds pointy ears as she caught up to him, "And thought it wise to buy Bananas of all things from a stranger."
Link let out a small yelp of pain, struggling to leave Fay's grasp as he pulled back harshly.
"I get it! But don't pull... You're so much worse than the Yiga spies anyways..." He whined, leaving Faylana to snort and retain a fit of laughter.
It was about 6:50 pm as the duo arrived to the stable.
"Looks like we're back," Fay smiled, keeping her wallet ready.
After the fight with the Yiga spy, she had gained 85 rupees to the amount she had gained from the previous fight in Zora's Domain, making a total of 108 for the night. Fay hesitated upon reaching the back desk, as Link followed.
