-- Faylana's P.O.V. -
Sitting on the rocks in Rabia Plain is quite peaceful as worry for monsters was no more.
The sound of the water babbling is serene and the fishes lingering by the water's edge was a sight for sore eyes.It had been a while since the Calamity, a nice peace across the land and Hyrule was lively in their respective regions.
The Yiga Clan had disbanded while others left and rejoined the Shiekah once more. Our Lady Impa has been monitoring them for sometime and Purah has been studying to take her mother's place.
Princess Zelda, now Queen by the passing of her father was running the Kingdom of Hyrule smoothly, a new Royal Guard Army was made and I was satisfied knowing Link was taking care of the Princess. He had gone back to Hateno Village to his house that is no longer new, apparently it was his before the Calamity, and his job as training the Recruits was quite awe inspiring.
As for me? Well, I'm happy to report that I am still the Guardian of the Sword and of Link, but with no real threat, I headed back to Lurelin to show my parents and explain, still live in Hateno, but have dedicated my life as a researcher and a scavanger.
It seems documenting the land of Hyrule has it's part as the Princess deemed her first decree,
A school for young Hylians to learn about their land and what lays around, and another for Scholars wanting to know the region's and their flora and fauna. But, just the other day, I had quite a surprise.
●--------------●"And so, in the eyes of Hylia and of the three Godessess, will you be my wife?"
Link started shaking as his makeshift wooden box held a rather nice diamond carved ring.
"That's good, BUT this is a grand occasion Link! You can't go monotone on me now! Leave out the decree of the Goddesses and tell her what you feel. Don't make it seem like a command."
I sighed as Link looked down and scratched his head.
"Who's it for anyways?" I chuckled, "You've gone back to being quiet and you all of a sudden ask me to help you."
Link said nothing but looked at the box and the gem inside.
"I'd be thrilled if it were Princess Zelda, she has had her eye on you, you know? And Purah, since her stutter has gotten worked in with practice, shes told me."
Link simply chuckled and thrusted the box to my chest before he quieted himself.
I turned slowly and to my surprise, he had kneeled on one knee and held the hilt of his Master Sword."Don't tell me..."
The blond simply gave a slight crooked smile,
"I thought it was obvious?"
●----------------●
I recall that rather ... odd day. I had finished helping him polish his safe kept weapons and tend to his many tunics.
Unfortunately, the unlucky soul was I and... well... I guess I am his partner in more than one way.As I sit here at Rabia Plain, near the ever calming wallerfall, my Frost Spear resting by my side, I feel the calm of Hyrule since we took down Calamity Ganon.
Yet, now a new anxiety awaits.
One I have never experienced and its feels quite
... peculiar.I had been meaning to tell Link this sooner, but he always seems to be training the Recruits and helping villages when he can.
He recently started revisiting the shrines and reattempting the trials.
But I will not wait any longer, as soon as he comes back tonight, over his favorite Egg Pudding, I will tell him.
I only hope this dream isn't real.
