Morning broke out as the people awoke.
Rudi still at his post, checking people in, Khini still making his Akkala Buns, Hoz was still on patrol and a young girl named Nobo was talking to Fay as she made breakfast."Aside from staying the night, you look like someone who has traveled all over the world!"
She beamed, "I've traveled everywhere, but at the end of the day, I like Akkala best of all.""Really? So you must be pretty familiar with the region." Faylana continued, making the girl smile.
"Is there anything you want to know?" She asked.
"What about Akkala, what's around here?"
"Let's see... if you go West of the stable, there's a sacred place called the Spring of Power! 'Offer the Sacred Article to the Spring of Power.' That's what the legends says." She hummed, "Maybe it was a part of a ritual the Princess of Hyrule Castle used to perform?"
They sat down, pondering the notion as a certain blond walked outside.
"Oh, theres my cue. It was nice meeting you and hearing a bit more. Next time I'll see about the other places you know.""Anytime!" Nobo smiled, "See ya!"
The duo ate to their full, Link inviting Fay to one more bun, and left to the top of the hill.
The walk was peaceful, the Dragonflies buzzing around and the sun warm on their skins as they wore their usual tunics.
Walking past the rock ahead, Link held Fay back as a red target laid on his forehead.
Fay felt through her quiver, taking out the arrow Beetle had given her for 'Customer Appreciation Day' and readied her bow.Link looked as the arrow unfolded into a blue glow, and with a single shot to the Guardian's eye, it broke down and gave no further trouble to the pair.
Link smiled as Fay walked to the door, slightly knocking as it swung open."You mean... it was open..?"
Link asked,"You didn't know?" Fay questioned.
"I... I thought, being 11 at NIGHT no one would answer but I guess I was wrong." He scoffed, making Fay giggle as she walked in with the man.
They were met with a strange looking machine before them, similar to the Guardians but.. less intimidating.
"I...it's... an.... it's..."
It slurred out. The sound of footsteps heard from behind."Hey, you! What are you doing here?" A short old man, with goggles similar to Purah's stood behind them with a slightly younger woman.
"Hmmm.... Hm?" He hummed, "HMMM? Are you... the one called... Link?" He asked.
"Yes, that's my name. And this he-"
"HM... That's too bad. If you WERE the legendary Link, there would be something important I'd need to tell you." He interrupted, pointing a finger to Link,
"But how can I determine with full certainty whether or not you are the true hero? Yes,how indeed? Hm?"He seemed more imposing than the machine, bluntly addressing Link as he stood quite dazed.
"Hm, hm, yes. If you can show me the wounds your body suffered 100 years ago, that should prove you are truly Link!"
Link gulped slightly as Fay grew a slight pink.
"H-hold it! Isn't that too personal to ask?!""I'm not talking to you, am I?" He asked.
"N-no-"
"Hm! I am addressing this man called Link! If he can prove his name, then I'll believe him!"
He retorted, making Fay hush.Link shifted slightly, taking off his tunic.
His body was well built with subtle curves here and there, and as the old man stated, he had scars and old wounds from 100 years ago, some new as well with some memories as fairies healed him before.
