"What is the word?

An unhuman search...

Memories touching, heavy fog masking

I am a vessel, are you a vessel?

Oh beautiful, comfortable body

I let myself sink into it, a warm blanket

And every once in a while I look inside

Shimmery, it makes me dizzy

To listen closely to the steady waves"

Somewhere on the English channel,  1460

"My lady." A gentle voice called out.

"My lady please it is time to waken, we must prepare you. We have sailed into the English
channel." The same voice called out again causing Alyssia to stir awake.

Once she opened her eyes everything flooded back.

The crash.

Kate.

"Am I dead?" She thought to herself.

Looking up to see the source of the voice that which woke her up.

Who are you?" She asked but the panic in her voice was as clear as day; as she found a girl dressed in old history clothing waking her up.

"Cassandra my lady. Your maid, do you not remember?" The girl replied just as confused as Alyssia.

"Maid? What? Wait there was a crash..... I should be dead." Alyssia threw off the cover which provided her warmth. She hopped out of bed, but not before tripping over the fabric of her dress and falling onto her face.

"Oh my! My lady are you alright?" Cassandra rushes to Alyssia helping back to her feet.

"Yes... I wait what am I even wearing?" Alyssia snarled in anger when she found what caused her tripped.

"Your night-gown?" Her maid replied timidly and confused.

"Right, yup that does look like a nightgown." Alyssia trailed on.

"My lady are you feeling alright? Or should I get the doctor?" The maid suggested.

"No! ... I mean, I think I just had a nightmare and it was very horrid. I am alright thank you for your concern." Alyssia remembered everything that happened and if she didn't play along until she figured out what's going on she would be locked up in a mental asylum.
