"Let's go out in flames so everyone knows who we are

'Cause these city walls never knew that we'd make it this far

We've become echoes, but echoes are fading away

So let's dance like two shadows, burning out a glory day"

Aquilo - Silhouette

Middleham castle, next morning 1465

It was the dawn of a new day as the windows of her room housed the cold weather which made its home outside.

Without a fire in her room Alyssia could feel that it was early morning as she saw her breath leave a puff of smoke when she breathed out.

For once she felt awake and rejuvenated the moment she opened her eyes.

Her nightmare was gone for the first time in a very long time.

Edward was safe; whom she would see very soon.

Everything was finally getting better.

Pulling her arms above her head she grunted in pleasure stretching out her limbs before rolling her body to the other side of the same spot she slept in.

And that's when she saw him.

Her Edward sleeping soundly before her.

She couldn't contain her happiness and shock.

'He must of returned last night' she concluded.

All those countless time she imagined this moment.

It has finally come true.

She felt a tear of happiness slide down her cheek as she placed her hand on Edwards.

As she sighed in relief, her heart began to race as she saw specks of dry dirt cover his face.
