"When the butterfly is faded

And the beast shows you the dirt

When the bird has died somewhere in mid-flight and you've crashed down to the earth

When your in- in complete
Will you try your feet?

Or will you find your knees? And admit defeat?"

Westminster palace, 1483

The cracking fire was the only thing that could be heard as the bitter silence sliced the castle with its presence.

Outside the royal chambers the children of Edward and Alyssia all stood waiting for something to be told to them.

But when they heard the wails of their mother each and every one whom stood in that corridor felt their hearts break for their queen.

Tears began to fell from each of their eyes. And no more than Edmunds and Elizas.

Edmund felt Maddelenas hand hung his own giving him strength he needed so.

Eliza was embraced by her elder brother Henry who himself was inconsolable.

After a while of silence the doors of the chamber opened revealing their mother the queen.

As she stepped into the light they all saw how her appearance had changed her brown iris were now glossy.

As the bags under eyes became dark and puffy. She was suffering.

Alyssia couldn't think.

She couldn't breath.

She only knew she had to move otherwise she would kill herself on the spot.

But she would full fill Edward promise. She would see their son sit upon the throne of England.

She now stood between the entrance of the room of the corridor staring at a blank space on the wall opposite her.
