Days had passed by since Adela and I had been t the city, and all she ever does is come over and lays in garden and talks about how one day she'll have her own house with a beautiful garden such as mine.

"Hey did you ever get that cough checked?", I asked just now remembering.

"Oh yeah, I did they actually said it was allergies that's all", she said looking up at me while covering her eyes from the sun.

"Really? Good, that's good to hear", I said relieved.

"I told you it was OW", she screeched and smacked her arm, there was a bug that had bitten her.

"Ugh! Stupid bugs", she said rolling her eyes and scratching the area it had bitten.

"Here I think we have mosquito repellent", I said standing up to grab some.

I came back and sprayed her arms and legs as she did the same to me.

"Anyways as I was saying, I told you it was nothing", she said, "they even gave me allergy medication".

I nodded and she continued to talk about how she plans on what to do when she goes back to school.

"Hey do you want to go to the beach?", I said interrupting her.

"Right now? It's like an hour away Mattia", she said.

"I know but It's a very hot and humid day, I'm sure going for a swim at a beach and not the pool will do us good", I said trying to persuade her to come.

"Well alright, lets go to my house so I can get my bathing suit", she said.

She stood up and I stood up with her. We walked over to my car, and drove over to her house.

"That bug bite really does itch", she said scratching the spot.

"Stop, you're going to make it worst, put deodorant on the bite, it makes it stop from being itchy", I told her smacking her hand from her leg.

"I didn't know that", she said surprised.

"Neither did I until my mother showed me", I said.

"Who are you more close with, you're mother or father?", she asked simply.

"Uhh, I'm not sure to be honest, I think my dad when it is just us, but around people I think my mom", I answered thinking about the question.

Who am I closer to?

"Mattia turn here, my house is right here", she said snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Oh right", I said turning.

We had parked in her drive way and she ran off to get her bathing suit, I was waiting in the car for her.

"I think I got everything" , she said breathlessly as she had ran back to the car.

" let's go before it gets any darker", I said and sped off towards the beach.

During the car ride she was talking about how she plans on achieving her summer checklist, and her bucket list.

"I would love to jump into a waterfall", she said excitedly, "what about you? What's on your summer list?"

"I think I'd like to fall in love for once", I said.

The thought of falling in love especially for the first time sounded nice to me, I know I always tell her I love her, and so on, but I want to love her more than what I say.

"I don't think I follow, I thought you loved me?", she asked.

"I do Adela, but I wanna love someone so much that I want a future with them type of love, the love that is more than a four letter word, I don't know, maybe I should scratch that off", I said, now regretting it.

"No don't, I think you can fall in love, who knows maybe it won't be me", she said, her tone had change and it sounded as if she was kidding, but something told me she wasn't.

The car ride to the beach became quiet after she asked me that, the only sound was the radio playing jazz and her humming along to it.

We walked out of the car and grabbed all of the things she had brought, and walked over to a good spot in the sand. She laid down her towel and put up the umbrella for shade. I laid my towel next to hers, and sat down next to her.

"Can you put sunscreen on me, I don't want to burn", she said handing me the bottle.

I nodded and she scooted closer to me for me to get the spots she couldn't reach, I notice how she was scratching her leg more, and it had became a rash on her leg.

"Baby, that looks bad, you've been picking at it after I told you to put deodorant on it for it to stop scratching", I told her.

"I did! But it's starting to become a rash on its own, I'll just put cream on it when I get back home okay", she said.

"All right, are you going to tan right now or what?", I asked.

She had grabbed a handful of sand and let it fall through her fingers smiling.

"I think ima lay here for a bit before entering the water", she said doing it again.

I nodded and laid down, not because I wanted a tan, but all that driving had made me tired and I wanted to take a quick nap before getting in the water. I closed my eyes, and listened to the waves crashing and Adela humming to herself, which I noticed she does a lot, she hums her favorite songs whenever she runs out of things to say.

I felt her put her arm on top of my chest and her head on my shoulder, she started to kiss my cheek repeatedly, until I turned my head facing her and she kissed me on my lips.

"I can kiss you All day", she said smiling.

"I can kiss you all night", I said back while playing with her hair.
