"You were totally flirting!"Leo teased.
We were sitting at the cafe I worked at, waiting for Piper to arrive.
"No. I don't flirt. Anyway, I still have a weird feeling about him. I
swear I've seen him..." My voice trailed off.
"Whatever... At least you'll be going to the same school as him. You
might be able to find out more about him. If you're right, as he is a demigod then we know something weird is going on."
We sat for what seemed like a long time before Piper finally showed
up. Her eyes could never make up their mind about what colour they wanted to be and she had a braid and feather in her hair. She looked like an Indian princess stuck in the 21st century.
"Hi, guys!" Piper said cheerfully.
Leo started teasing her again, making her blush as she sat down, "You
must be because you're like 45 minutes late."
I swatted his arm, "Leo! Leave the poor girl alone!"
Leo chuckled and waved the waitress over so she could get Piper's
order.
Of course, as soon as she came over, Leo started immediately flirting with her. Rebecca, that's her name according to her name tag. I started to feel bad for her and Piper and I groaned as this was going to take a while.
Finally, she left to make our food. Leo was smirking to himself. He
looked genuinely happy and he looked between Piper and me.
"What?" He snapped in a joking way.
"You cannot flirt with every girl you meet, Leo," Piper scolded.
"Um... You're literally the daughter of Aphrodite. Isn't she the
goddess of sex and flirtation?" Leo questioned and I snorted at Piper's expression.
She looked appalled, "Love and passion!" She almost yelled.
I was stifling my laughter as I watched Leo and Piper bicker with each
other when suddenly a redheaded girl with giant curls came hopping her bubbling with excitement.
"Hey, guys! How are you?" She said.
Piper and Leo paused momentarily and Piper spoke first before Leo
could flirt, "Hey, Oracle. You gonna predict when Leo will shut up and stop flirting with every girl he sees?" Piper glared at Leo.
"Unfortunately, you don't need an oracle to know that will never
happen. How's about you, Annabeth?"
"Hey, Rachel! I'm good, I need to talk to you about something later,
come by my apartment?" I asked.
She agreed and winked at me. Jeez, she winks a lot. Eventually, she
sat down and ordered some food and hung out with us before headed off to the library and saying her goodbyes.
