Day 04

Maximus' POINT OF VIEW

Nagising ako ng tumama ang sinag ng araw sa balat ko. Gamit ang kamay ko ay hinarangan ko ang bawat sinag ng araw na tumatama sa mukha ko. I was about to get off from my bed when my attention got caught by the woman sleeping soundly beside me.

Madahan kong inalis ang hibla ng buhok na tumatabon sa maamo niyang mukha. I caressed her cheek.

"I love you too, Ga."

Paulit ulit na nagrereplay sa utak ko ang sinabi niya sa akin kagabi. Well, we enjoyed the night together. I must say it is one of the most memorable night of my life.

"Thank you for loving me." I whispered while staring to her gorgeous face.

Mahina akong napatawa ng makita kong napakunot noo siyang habang hinahapos ko ang pisngi niya. Looks like, she doesn't want anyone irritates her sleep.

Kahit gustuhin ko pang pagmasdan siya ay hindi na pwede. Kailangan ko ng pumasok sa trabaho dahil may koneksyon sa babaeng kaharap ko ngayon ang malaking desisyon na kailangan kong pangatawanan. And I don't want to disappoint her.

Maingat akong bumangon at nagsuot ng robe bago ko inayos ang pagkakakumot sa kaniya. Ibinaba ko din ang dark glass sa kwarto ko para di makapasok ang sinag ng araw just to make the place looks night, still.

I know she is tired because of what happened last night. And she deserves a rest for her to gain all her strength.

I softly kiss Ga on her forehead before I went to the bathroom to take a bath. It took me thirty minutes under the cold shower before I pull myself together to prepare for my work.

I wear a simple attire that is suitable for my job today. I have to do this not just for myself but for Renze.

Pagkatapos ko magbihis, inayos ko lang ang gamit ko bago ko tinawagan sina Jin and Johnny. On this case, I know they will really help me a lot.

[I'm on my way] Jin on the other line answered.

"Mmm. See you then" I said before I ended the call.

I took a glance to Renze who is still sleeping. I walk towards her direction and swiftly kiss her lips. I left a note on her phone's screen for her to know where I am.

Tahimik kong isinara ang pinto ng kwarto ko bago ako tuluyang bumaba. I look for my parents and they are on the dining area grabbing their breakfast.

"Good morning, Son." They greeted me in chorus.

Ibinaba ko ang gamit ko sa upuan na nakareserve para sa akin. Nakahanda na din ang plato at umagahan namin.

"Where is Lhaurenze?" Puno ng kyuryosidad na tanong ni Mommy sa akin habang hinahain ang mga iba pang pagkain.

"Still asleep." Tipid kong sagot bago uminom ng juice na nasa baso ko.

Nadisappoint naman siya sa sinagot ko. "Pinagluto ko pa naman siya ng marami kasi hindi ko alam ang paborito niyang pagkain."

My mom always cooks special whenever I spent my night here because I always stay on my pad. And she never fails to serve a great breakfast for me and dad. But today is different, parang may fiesta sa dami ng niluto niya.

Napailing na lang ako.

"Mom, don't wake her up. She is too drai---" napatigil ako sa pagpigil kay Mommy ng marinig kong inuutusan niya yung isang maid namin na gisingin si Renze. I am on the middle of my statement when Dad cut me off.

"Why? She is tired?" Tanong ni Dad habang naglalaro ang ngisi sa labi niya.

Mom innocently look at me, "Tired? The main reason why we sent you off to your room to have some rest. And you're----"
