A Week with Mr. Matchmaker [COMPLETED]

Day 05

Maximus' POINT OF VIEW

I am on a deep thought, analyzing the things that just happened. I almost jumped when someone throw a lotion towards my direction.

"Kamusta daydream?" She sarcastically asked.

Nandito siya ngayon sa condo ko mainly because I didn't let her went to her place. I got frightened for all the possibilities that may happen.

Baka maagaw eh.

"You keep bullying me" I said in a pout but she just laugh at me.

She walked towards my direction and hugged me tightly.

"Tapos kung makayakap ka diyan kala mo naman." Bulong kong reklamo sa kaniya na tinawanan na lang naman niya. Kala mo naman madadala niya ako sa mga yakap yakap niya. Eto na nga oh, niyakap ko na pabalik.

Kinutusan ko ang sarili ko sa isip ko.

Ang rupok mo Maximus!

"Mahal naman kita." Bulong niya habang nakayakap pa din sa akin.

I kissed her the top of her head. "I love you too."

Nanatili kaming tahimik dalawa. It is not the silence that bothets but the silence that we are both enjoying and comfortable with.

"What do you want for lunch?" I asked.

Umakto naman siyang nag iisip bago ngumiti ng malapad. "How about chicken pork adobo?"

Pinisil ko ang pisngi niya. "Chicken pork adobo, it is. Whatever my Ga wants."

Nginitian niya lang naman ako.

"Sige na, prepare yourself. Magluluto lang ako ng lunch natin." Saad ko sa kaniya.

She tiptoed and kissed me on my cheek before she break the embrace. Tahimik siyang naglakad papunta sa bathroom habang ako naman ay chineck saglit ang phone ko kung may mga importanteng tawag o messages akong natanggap. So far, nothing seems so important.

I went to my condo's kitchen and prepared our lunch. I check my fridge if I have the stocks for what Ga requested and luckily, I got them all.

I am on the middle of my cooking when my phone rings. While waiting for my chicken pork adobo, I answered the call.

"Hey bro." I immediately greeted as I stirred all the meat.

[Busy?] Rence asked on the other line.

"Mmm. Just preparing lunch for Renze."

[I will have dinner with your parents later. Just to talk about some issues and everything. Would you both want to come over?]

Napaisip naman ako sa tanong niya. As much as I want to keep Renze with me the whole day, I can't. I have important matters to do.

"We'll be there."

[Okay then. See you.]

"Yeah"

The line died.

I also sent some messages to my friends and cousins for some important matters. I badly need their help. When it comes to connection, I know my cousins will do better.
