There are some sunsets that look as though gasoline was tossed into the clouds, and then set to fire, spreading an amazing ray of colors throughout the sky. As the sun lowers its burning body to the ground, the fire changes into a masterpiece of crimson and azul and if only for a moment a picture can be taken, but it will never be the same as the original work of art.
Focusing his seaweed colored eyes, Ikki slowly came back to reality. His eyes were deeply mesmerized by her sky of purple being tossed about in the wind. Curves of her ocean body moved towards the bar he currently worked at. Her eyes of earth brown were dangerously sharp and they pointed in his direction. She was the goddess of wrath and there was nothing sexier than the way she carried is about herself. Ikki bit his lip thinking of what he could give her and the life they could have if only she would give him her time.
Tapping her longs of glass on the beer smothered counter, the woman whipped her words about him, "Scotch, double, and make it quick! Gambit's service has been getting lack since you've started working here."
The brown colored liquid had already been in his hands, and her order had been ready since he had first laid eyes on her. Day after day she came here and ordered the same drink which excited Ikki to know he would see this deity every day. Setting the drinks in front of the owner of his amethyst sunset Ikki grinned, "You know, Lori, one of these days I'm going to burn all our scotch down and make you beg me for some like a dog."
A scowl that could have killed innocent virgins was arranged upon Lori's face, "Eleven years of following me around like a mutt, and now you're threatening my life line? What is it you want, Ikki?"
The man ran his hands through his jet-black hair and could barely hold his satisfaction behind his grin. For Eleven years he had known Lori and after the first couple of years he had begun to feel differently about her. He had fallen for her when their eyes first met, but his courage had never been great enough to bother asking anything from her. Now with a hand on her bottle of scotch he knew that he was finally ready to make her his, "Lori, there's something I want to ask you."
Her sharp knives of eyes darted between his hand and his eyes, "Well don't stand there asking to ask me something and just ask me already."
A deep breath within his lungs and the scotch off the counter, Ikki made his move, "Lori, I want you to be my girl. After all these years I want you to know how much I love you."
"Are you... fucking kidding me?" With one sudden movement she flicked her wrist and managed to propel her glass in Ikki's direction.
Feeling the sharp impact upon his chest he heard something along the lines of 'ouf' escape his mouth. He did his best to recover, "Lori, I'm not joking with you. I love you and I want you to be mine."
"Listen, you crazy idiot! Give me the scotch, go outside, and then drown yourself in that lake."
Carefully he walked forward and set the scotch down on the counter before her. Their eyes were locked on each other's and something was going to go down soon. Knowing he had little time left, Ikki leaned forward ever so quickly and placed a wet kiss on Lori's lips. The next thing he felt was the sharp sting of her rock like hand slam against his cheek. A picture is only ever worth a few words, but the real deal can be everlasting and that was what he would strive for.
