LUX BONTERI

Lux and Ahsoka were frolicking through the jungle without a care in the world. Lux held Ahsoka's hand as she trailed behind him. She had the biggest smile on her face. The Onderonian jungles were quite hostile, but Lux found this particular pathway to be quite tame.

After running through the jungle and grass for a few minutes, the two came across a rather serene spring with a waterfall that was well hidden and off the beaten path. The two stopped and sit down on some rocks.

"Not many people know about this place. My mom and I always used to come down here. She said she took my father down here, when she-"

He stopped his sentence there. This had been where his mother, the late Mina Bonteri, had first kissed his father. They would go on to get married a few years later.

"What's wrong, Lux?" Asked Ahsoka.

Should I really do this, thought Lux, Should I really tell her how I feel?

If he had told Ahsoka about the whole kissing thing, that could have spoiled the moment.

"Nothing," said Lux, "Just... I... I'm a little nervous..."

"About what?"

Lux took a deep breath, and spoke up.

"Ahsoka, you are strong, and you have some of the strongest morals I've ever come across. You have more determination than any warrior I have ever seen. And you're just a padawan. You'll be a great Jedi, I know it. But if I tell you this, I could jeopardize your future as a Jedi. So I just want to know, how far are you willing to-"

"I love you too, Lux."

Ahsoka said that as tears began to roll from her eyes. Lux was in shock.

"I shouldn't love you, but I do, Lux. I can't lie to myself anymore. I've had feelings for you ever since our incident on Carlac. I tried to push my feelings down to the deepest wrenches of my gut. But here I am, with you. I can't hide it anymore Lux. Please, I love you, I love you..."

The tears were now pouring out of her eyes. She had let her feelings out for him.

"Ahsoka," Lux said softly, slowly moving in on her. "I.. I love you too. I didn't want to admit it, because I didn't want to jeopardize your future as a Jedi. But, I can't help falling in love with you. You're so strong, and pretty, and... perfect..."

The two leaned closer together. Lux put his shoulder on Ahsoka's. There was no going back. They were in love now. They leaned closer, their foreheads touching, and-

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

Kriff! Just as the two were about to kiss, Lux got startled back to reality by his alarm clock. Lux sighed. That had been the best dream he had ever had. He wanted it to be real. But as Lux came back to reality, he knew it wasn't. But after that dream, he couldn't lie to himself anymore.

He loved Ahsoka Tano.
