AHSOKA TANO
Ahsoka was once again checking in with the council, as was required for her. It was nice to be able to see her friends, even if they were just blue-colored holograms. But this time, it was different. She had broken the Jedi code and fallen in love, so she would have to outright lie to the council if the topic was brought up.
"Has there been any complications with Bane since you captured him?" asked Obi-Wan.
"No," replied Ahsoka.
"Good, and he'll be shipped off to Coruscant later today as planned?"
"Yes. But you might want to keep an eye on him, even while he's in prison. it wouldn't be his first time escaping."
"We know that very well," said Windu, "Perhaps we should send him to a different establishment?"
"I'll leave that for you to decide," Ahsoka replied.
"So," said Obi-Wan, "Is there any more threats to you or the Senator?"
"Well..."
Suddenly, a feeling of uneasiness swept over Ahsoka. She felt, through the force, that something was coming. But unlike the previous assassination attempt, it didn't come in the form of a vision. it just came as a feeling of... cold. She had felt this before, when she had rescued some force-sensitive children from a mysterious facility on Mustafar, another plot of Bane's handiwork after he stole a holocron from the Jedi Temple (Why he did it was still unknown). This feeling... it was the dark side. And a feeling this strong could only mean one thing: a Sith Lord had something to do with it.
"Snips, are you alright?" Anakin noticed Ahsoka's expression, her hand against her face as the feeling surrounded her.
"It's... it's the Dark Side... S-something is coming, b-but I don't know what..." Ahsoka managed to say.
Yoda looked concerned, but understanding. "A sudden feeling, the Dark Side can give," he said.
"So... your mission isn't over?" Windu asked.
"No... I don't think so, not yet. Not until... this... feeling, this coldness..."
"Understand, I do, that overwhelming and sudden, this feeling is," said Yoda. "But learn to push past it and be brave, you must. Become engulfed, you must not, or else fall into darkness, you will."
"I understand, master Yoda," Ahsoka said.
The Jedi masters all disconnected. But only the Jedi Masters.
Anakin was still looking at Ahsoka through the hologram.
"I sense many feelings from you, young one..." he said.
"W-what do you mean? Why are you still here?" Ahsoka asked.
"Tell me, what have you been doing with Senator Bonteri in your free time."
Ahsoka's stomach started to flip as she tried to come up with a lie, but she took too long to reply.
"That's what I thought," said Anakin.
"No," said Ahsoka, "I... we barely spend any time together!" Ahsoka lied to try and cover up their relationship. "He just became a Senator! He's very busy!"
"Tell me, you said you were on a balcony with Lux when the assassination took place. What exactly were you doing up there?"
"I just- he said he wanted to get some fresh air, look out over the city on the balcony. I let him, but then I remembered about the dream and rushed up to save him, which thankfully I was able to do."
Ahsoka tried very hard to push her thought to the back of her head and shield them, or else her master would sense that she was lying.
Anakin bought it.
"Well, I guess... I was just worried you were becoming attached to him, but... you... what am I thinking, you would never. Didn't he knock you out and take you to Death Watch once?"
Ahsoka nodded. "Yeah, do you think I would ever fall in love? Especially with him, of all people?"
"You're right. Ahsoka, I'm sorry. I was just worried. I don't want you breaking the Jedi code. I feel like... well, I'm not the best with my emotions myself, and if you broke the code, maybe I wouldn't have been the best teacher for you. But looks like you're fine. So I guess it was a good thing I taught you after all."
"Of course, Skyguy."
Anakin smirked and disconnected.
Immediately, Ahsoka broke into tears, letting her feelings spew out once again
W... what have I done, she thought, I... I lied to my master! I lied to Anakin!
LUX BONTERI
Lux heard crying from Ahsoka's room as he walked by. Immediately, he had to go and check on her. They were lovers, after all.
Lux opened the door to see Ahsoka crying on the floor.
"Ahsoka! what happened!" Lux yelled.
"I... I... I lied to my master..." she said.
"What? Well, you knew you would have to do this..."
"No! It's... it's not just that, it's... Lux, I feel cold. It's the Dark Side, Lux. We aren't safe, Lux. We're still in danger..."
Lux hugged Ahsoka. Immediately, her tears began to clear up.
"It'll be okay, 'Soka, we'll be okay..."
