6 - Homeroom

Alexis Dragnae will be sitting where Jirou used to sit, next to Bakugou. ^^^ That photo is for visual.

"Alright Dragnae, you are going to wait here while we introduce 'a new student to their class'. We'll tell you when to come in okay?" Principal Nezu was curled up in Mr. Aizawa's scarf looking at me with a gentle smile.

"Aright, I'll wait here. Will you just tell me to come in when it's time?" I replied to the small Principal. 

"Exactly, we'll let you know Dragnae." Principal Nezu replied.

All Might put one of his hands onto my shoulders and met my eyes with a soft gaze, "Young Dragnae, I know for sure you will like this class, they are a very tightknit group, you'll fit right in no doubt. So, ease your nerves, I can see how nervous you are." 

I felt myself release a breath I didn't even know I had been holding and felt all of the tension in my body ease at his kind words. "Thank you sir, I know it's going to be fine, I just can't help but be nervous."

"I know young Dragnae, there's nothing to worry about. We'll see you in a few minutes." With that, All Might was the last of the teachers to walk through the door, sliding it shut behind him to ensure none of the students saw me before I was told to come in.

THIRD-PERSON POV

Principal Nezu was wrapped in Mr. Aizawa's scarf as he waited for All Might to enter the room after them. The three adults stood before class 3-A getting ready to announce the news of a new student.

"Good morning students! I hope you all had a very eventful and fun summer break. I know coming back to school is never fun, but we have some news that we would like to share with all of you." Principal Nezu hopped out of Aizawa's scarf and stood on the desk in the front of the room.

"As many of you students may already know, one of your classmates Kyouka Jirou has transferred schools, she intends to follow a career of music rather than heroism. We were very saddened to hear the news, but as a school, we are wishing her the best of luck in her new career path." Some of the students who didn't know Jirou wasn't coming back looked around the room to gauge the reactions of their classmates.

All Might chimed in with the good news, "While this is sad news, we do have some good news to tell you all, we do have a new student joining us today. She was born here in Japan but moved to America for 7 years, her sudden return was fueled by her desire to be a hero. She chose this school to come to and for that, we are deeply honored."

Kirishima was staring intently at All Might with his thoughts running wild. 'Could this be the girl I met this morning? She said she was new! Holy crap if it's Alexis this is awesome!' He turned his head to the right slightly and met Mina's gaze, he could tell that she was thinking the same thing as him. They shared a bright smile between themselves hoping for the best.

"Young Dragnae, would you mind coming in and introducing yourself?" All Might asked looking towards the classroom door.

FIRST-PERSON POV

I listened intently through the door trying to hear as much as I could. I heard All Might telling the class a little bit about me, I figured he was close to telling me to come in, so I straightened my skirt and fixed my tie, I leaned down a bit to make sure my socks were up right below my knees. 

"Young Dragnae, would you mind coming in and introducing yourself?" I heard All Might's voice through the door and took the cue and slid the door open. I was too nervous to look at the class as I walked in so I just walked straight to where there was an open space between Mr. Aizawa and Principal Nezu. I stood and took a deep breath and bowed my head.

"Hello and good morning. My name is Alexis Dragnae."

KIRISHIMA'S POV

I stared at the door waiting for her to walk in. 'I couldn't believe that the beautiful girl I met this morning was going to be in my class!' I stole a glance at Mina who looked back at me and gave me an excited smile, which I returned immediately. 

'I thought I was going to get lucky seeing her again at lunch but now we're in the same class? This is awesome!'

BAKUGOU'S POV

'I really couldn't care less about a new student. It's just another body that I have to prove I'm better than. To be honest, the only thing on my mind was the girl I saw running this morning, I haven't been able to get her out of my head and I don't fucking know why. It was so annoying like what the hell? I didn't even know who she was but every time I think about her, her hair, her skin, her eyes, her face, my heart skips a beat. It's fucking annoying. Who is she? And why the fuck do I care to know so damn much?'

The door slid open, her head was down slightly, but it was her. There was no mistake, it was HER. The hair, even though it was down I knew it was hers, it was unmistakable. The fiery red roots growing into ash-blonde from the middle to the ends only to get brighter the farther down it went. Her hair was long, even in the ponytail it was long, but it looks like it reaches her butt, 'that's cute, wait what the fuck am I even thinking?'  I couldn't take my eyes off of her, she was even more stunning than I remember. 

My face wore the shock I felt as I watched her walk in and bow.

'Alexis Dragnae, that's her name. This is the mystery girl I haven't gotten out of my head.'

FIRST-PERSON POV

I lifted my head to finally meet the gaze of my new classmates. I was met with familiar faces right away. I saw Kirishima and felt a big smile emerge on my face, he returned it with a smile just as big in return. I then looked over and saw Mina and the other two boys I had met briefly this morning. A wave of relief came over me as I realized I already had friends in this classroom.

All Might started talking about the transfer and how the only reason it was possible was because of Jirou not being here for this year.

Principal Nezu started talking about the rest of the year and the security changes and all of the stuff I had heard last week at our meeting. I shifted my gaze throughout the rest of the room starting to familiarize the new faces.

There was a cute boy in the back with half white and half red hair and a scar over his left eye, a sweet-looking girl with a round face and short brown hair, and many more faces I would soon be able to match names with faces. While I was scanning the room I felt eyes on me, I turned to the direction they were coming from and my eyes landed on one specific person who was watching me with a glare I could've felt from miles away. 

I could feel the shock in my body, but I tried to force a neutral expression as I met his stare. It was the guy from this morning, the one that made my heart stop for a moment. The red eyes and ash-blonde hair was unmistakable. It was HIM. I didn't think I'd ever see him again. 

I looked away quickly and met a gaze to my right, Mr. Aizawa.

"Dragnae, there is an open seat next to Bakugou, Bakugou; stand up please." When Mr. Aizawa said the last part of his sentence, the man from this morning stood up. He was taller than I thought he was, I saw him standing full, but I still didn't realize just how tall he really was, and he was even more beautiful now that I could look at him standing instead of me running by him quickly. He had the same scowl that he wore this morning too.

"That will be your seat for the year, or not, whatever you choose, but that is the only open one available." Mr. Aizawa said with sleep coating his voice. "Go ahead and tell the rest of the students a little bit about yourself and your quirk."

"Of course." I replied formally to the teacher.
