New Girl at UA (OC Character)

8 - Lunch

The classes leading up to our lunch period seemed to move at a decent pace. There wasn't much interesting going on during them, it was all the same first-day bullshit every school goes through, 'here's what we're covering this year, these days are your exams, yadda yadda yadda.'

Once the final bell leading to lunch rang Mina and Ochako both came over to my seat and started rambling on about random things. To be honest, I hadn't paid too much attention to them, I don't know why I wasn't listening too intently but I just wasn't. I leaned over to finish packing my bag and saw shoes in front of my face, when I finally raised my head to look at who was standing in front of me I saw none other than beautiful redhead from this morning;  Kirishima.

He flashed me a toothy grin and I returned the smile and continued putting my things away. "You still going to sit with us Dragnae?" I raised myself back up and stood to match everyone around me, Bakugou was standing next to him, staring intently at me, until I locked eyes with him. He quickly looked away and pretended he wasn't looking. 

I laughed a little seeing the redhead in front of me rubbing the back of his neck, "Yeah of course! As long as you guys still want me to." I turned my gaze to the group of people forming around me. I couldn't help but smile, it was nice knowing that I already had friends, it made my body feel all warm and fuzzy.

Mina noticed that I was asking the group if they still wanted me to sit with them and took this as an opportunity to move over and throw her arm around me, "Dude of course we want you to sit with us! Besides, you're new, and there's no way we are going to just let you sit by yourself even if you wanted to. So basically you have no choice." She was beaming at me with the biggest smile, Ochako came over and put one of her arms around my waist agreeing with Mina.

"So, the new small fry is sitting with us? Great, just more noise that's going to be radiating from you extras." Bakugou had an attitude in his voice as if he doesn't want me there. "Whatever, just don't bother me."

I looked to Mina and Ochako and pulled them close and whispered to them, still loud enough for the ashblonde hothead to hear, wanting to annoy him further, "Wow, looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today." The three of us laughed with each other as we made our way out of the classroom, while Bakugou stopped where he was and I did the same to see his reaction, he seemed to be fuming with irritation.

"You're going to get your ass kicked if you're not careful small fry, so watch your tongue." The ash-blonde was staring at me with murder written on his face, but his eyes read something else, I wasn't quite sure what though.

"Yeah, yeah, what do you think you can do to me porcupine?" That probably wasn't the best idea on my part. He took advantage of being the last two people in the classroom and swiftly moved to pin me against the wall, holding my arms beside my head.

He leaned in close to my face, his hot breath made me shiver. "I would be careful what you call me small fry or I might just blow you up." I chuckled a little at his attempt to intimidate me, little did he know that any explosion sent my way would just be consumed, one of the perks of my quirk, his explosions flames wouldn't hurt me, I'd just use them against him after I absorbed them. 

"And what the hell do you think you're laughing at? This isn't funny. You cant just call me a porcupine and get away with it." Small sparks were coming from the palms of his hands as he leaned in closer to my ear, so close I could smell the Nitroglycerin coming from his body, it was a sweet smell and it made my face heat up.

"I won't go easy on you in any regards just because you're new, got that? You're still just some extra that's beneath me, someone I just have to show I'm better than." I felt chills go up my spine, it wasn't intimidating but it was another feeling. Something that I hadn't experienced before, his hands holding my arms tightly against the wall and his breath on my neck, the way his body was an inch from mine but not quite touching.
