15 - Hold Back

3RD PERSON POV

The group of excited students made their way towards the campus ready for their second day of classes. A feeling of joy running through each of the student's veins. As the group made their way into the classroom their chatter filled the room quickly. Dragnae, Mina, Kaminari, and Sero were gathered around Ochako's desk sharing their excitement for the day ahead of them.

"So I heard we're doing the Quirk Apprehension Tests today! I'm so excited honestly." Ochako beamed towards the group. A tall boy with green curly hair had made their way over the group.

"Hey, guys. I heard that too. I wonder how much we've all grown honestly." Midoriya replied.

Dragnae's attention shifted from the gravity girl onto the broccoli boy. "Oh hey Izu, I didn't see you this morning. Did you sleep okay?" The bicolor haired girl smiled warmly at the boy.

A face covering blush came over the green-haired boy's features. His body heating up as the new girl spoke to him softly and carefully. "O-oh, uhh. Hi,- Dragnae-Chan. I-uh, yeah I slept okay. I-uh actually left early to get in some extra training!" His blush was mostly gone as he pumped a fist into the air.

"He always gets up early to train. That's something you'll find out about Deku. He also gets super nerdy when talking about hero's and stuff so lookout." Ochako said to the girl laughing.

Without the group noticing Bakugou had entered the classroom carrying his school bag. He took a second to steal a glance at the new girl laughing, watching her radiant energy caused his chest to tighten and his cheeks to heat up. The explosive boy turned away and made his way to his seat.

As the casual chatter continued, the students' attention was brought to the sliding door of the classroom entrance.

A tired-looking Mr. Aizawa entered the room looking just as bored as he always does. "Alright fellow classmates. Mr. Aizawa is here now which means that we must all return to our seats in an orderly manner." Iida's hands motioning in their usual 'chopping' way ordered that all students return to their seats.

Dragnae exchanged a look with a certain redhead who flashed her a warm smile. A feeling of warmth rushed to both of their cheeks as they shared a genuine smile. All students in the class made their way to their respective seats.

"Alright students, so today we're going to be doing a Quirk Apprehension Test. We're only doing this really because we want to see how you've grown, if you have at all, over the summer." Aizawa's features were relaxed as he stood in front of the class.

Excited glances and murmurs filled the room. The only one other than Bakugou that was quiet was Dragnae, her mind was rushing with thoughts about what was to come. None of the students had seen her do anything remotely active, and she was worried about keeping herself under control.

Mr. Aizawa let out a deep sigh, "Be quiet...Thank you, as I was saying, I want you all to go to the locker rooms to get changed into your gym clothes and meet me in the field." Dragnae's gaze was locked onto the handsome teacher, heart racing from the anxiety she was feeling.

The class stayed silent as if waiting for something. Iida took the opportunity for him to use his Class Rep status, "You heard our teacher class. Let's make our way to the locker rooms quickly and orderly!"

Dragnae moved slowly knowing that her professor would want to speak to her.

"Hey come on Dragnae, you're moving way to slow girl!" A familiar pink-skinned girl found herself waiting at Dragnae's desk.

A small smile made it's way onto the new girl's lips as she looked up to her new friend. The girl shifted in her seat moving to stand up, bag in her hand ready to leave when Mr. Aizawa showed up in front of the pair.
