New Girl at UA (OC Character)

7 - Introductions

It was such a strange feeling having all of these eyes on me, especially his, Bakugou's. Now that I know his name I can finally put a name to the mystery face. It fit him so well, made me wonder what his full name is.

"Hello, my name is Alexis Dragnae. I was born here in Japan but moved to America for 7 years. When I decided I wanted to become a hero my family and I moved back to Japan so I could enroll here at UA High. I have a flame quirk with a mutation from my mom. I know there's still a lot to learn from my quirk and how I can use it, but that's why I'm here, to learn and grow to be a great hero. I'm very excited to get to know all of you and have a great year." When the last words left my lips I bowed once more and looked to Mr. Aizawa.

"Thank you Dragnae, you can take your seat now." With that, I walked towards the open seat next to Bakugou. 

Principal Nezu jumped off of the desk and proceeded to climb up into All Might's arms so he could hold him, 'He really is so cute!'. All Might held the Principal in his arms as if it was the most normal thing to happen.

"Well students, this is farewell for the two of us, we're very excited to watch you all grow into fabulous heroes. Mr. Aizawa could you step out into the hall with Mr. Yagi and I for a moment?" Principal Nezu asked Aizawa.

"Don't destroy the room while I'm gone." Mr. Aizawa said as he turned to leave the room with the other staff. After the door was slid shut Kirishima and Mina both got up from their seats and made their way to mine.

Mina grabbed both of my hands and pulled me into a tight embrace, "I knew I'd be seeing you around a lot! It was my intuition! Now that we're in the same class there's no way we're not going to be hanging out all the time! That means you're in the same dorm building as us too! Oh wow, this is so exciting!!" She kept rambling while I was being suffocated in her neck from the tight embrace.

Once she released me from her tight ass hold, I could finally look and see that Kirishima was looking at me, "Wow, I really didn't think we'd be in the same class. It's gotta be fate that we met this morning and now we get to be in the same class! Isn't this just insane!" He had the biggest smile on his face and a slight blush painted his cheeks as he was speaking to me.

BAKUGOU'S POV

I listened and watched from the corner of my eye as Racoon Eyes hugged her tightly. That feeling in my chest came back as I looked at her. Something about her just made me want to be the one holding her. 

Shitty hair said it was "fate" that they met this morning, if that was fate, then what was it when I saw her? Was that fate too? I couldn't help the thoughts sprinting through my mind about the way this morning happened and how she was now here, in this class, with me.

It was all so weird.

FIRST-PERSON POV 

I felt the same eyes on me from before, Bakugou's. I took the chance to steal a glance at him and I was right, he was watching the encounter out of the corner of his eyes. Those beautiful eyes. Kirishima had red eyes too but not as bright as his, they were magical. He noticed that I caught him and looked to his left out the window, resting his jaw on his fist.

I returned my gaze back to the two in front of me and looked to my right to see the other two boys from this morning that I didn't get the chance to meet, the yellow-haired boy and the one with black hair and a big smile.

The yellow-haired boy spoke up after Kirishima finished his sentence, "Hi! I'm Denki Kaminari, I didn't the chance to introduce myself this morning! I just want to say right off the bat, you're very beautiful." He spoke the last words in a voice that sounded like he was trying to flirt with me, then I caught the wink he threw at me, he is definitely flirting with me.

I couldn't help but let out a small giggle at his attempt of flirting and responded with "It's nice to meet you Kaminari." The guy with black hair flashed a big smile and also started to introduce himself, he said his name was Hanta Sero. 

Before anyone else had the chance to make introductions, a boy with dark blue hair and glasses stood up from his seat making his presence known, "Class, we must stay in our seats until Mr. Aizawa returns. We must not be out of our seats speaking." I got major class rep vibes from that guy, he had a point but it was the first-day man, chill out a little. 

Right after he said that Mr. Aizawa returned from the hall, he was carrying something, it looked like a sleeping bag? "Iida is right, on any other occasion you should be in your seats, but it's the first day, let's all be real nothing happens on the first day. Tomorrow though, no shenanigans will happen. I took role already and am taking a nap. Just try and keep the volume down, I don't care what you do. Goodnight." He was zipping up the sleeping bag he was carrying with him as he said "Goodnight" and laid down on the floor and just fell asleep.

Mina turned to the guy whose name was Iida, "See? We're fine! Just some quick introductions. Mr. Aizawa is right, nothing happens on the first day. Uraraka, come here! Meet Dragnae!" She waved wildly to the girl I had noticed earlier, the one with the round face and short brown hair. as she made her way over to where we were standing she stopped in front of a boy with curly green hair who was mumbling to himself and writing things down in a notebook.

"Deku come say hi with me!" Uraraka grabbed the green-haired boy by the arm and pulled him up to say hello as well. "Hi, it's so nice to meet you! My name is Ochako Uraraka. Your hair is seriously so cool! Is it like that naturally?!"

I smiled at her, "Yeah, It's been like this since I was born. It's nice to meet you too! I'm assuming your name is Deku?" I shifted my gaze to the taller guy with the green hair.

He looked very nervous and flustered, it was cute in a way, he doesn't seem to be good around girls. "Actually my name is Izuku Midoriya, Kaachan calls me Deku, and that's my hero name too. I've adopted it as a nickname so you can call me that if you want." I laughed as his response.

"Who is Kaachan?" I couldn't help but laugh a little bit at the name.

"I TOLD YOU TO STOP CALLING ME THAT STUPID DEKU!" Bakugou stood up from his seat and I noticed little explosions coming from his palms, 'that must be his quirk, maybe it's his skin producing a chemical in his sweat that he can activate to produce those explosions.' I was startled by the loudness coming from the beautiful man I had my mind on all day, it honestly made me want to punch him. 

"Oh right, this is the guy I said your hair looked like! Dragnae, meet Bakugou." Mina turned to him and so I turned my head to look back at the explosive male standing there, when I locked eyes with him it was as if time had slowed again, those eyes from this morning that had challenged me not to look away. Even though his explosion kind of pissed me off, that anger quickly dissipated once I met his gaze. The sparks in his hands stopped suddenly when we locked eyes, as if immediately calming.

We stood there holding the gaze for a few seconds, "It's Katsuki. Katsuki Bakugou. That's my name, not that fucking nickname that stupid Deku gives me."

I quickly retorted back to him with some sass in my voice not letting go of the stare, "His name is Midoriya, not 'Stupid Deku', and I'm going to assume that you're the one who gave him the nickname. I am also assuming that you two have known each other since you were kids. Am I wrong?"

Before Bakugou had the chance to reply Midoriya chimed in, "Wow how did you know that?! Kaachan and I have known each other since we were babies, our moms are friends." I told him it was an educated guess right as the bell rang. Mina ran over to her desk to grab her bag, by the time I had grabbed mine, she had linked arms with me and we made our way to our next class.

This is going to be an interesting school year.
