Max Adventures: Elemental Guardians Episode 2: The Story of the Amulets

Chapter 8: New Abilites

Magus approached Max "Don't do it Max. They're the only things effective on the amulets" Magus told him but Max was really thinking about doing that to save Leena.

Leena was feeling nervous. How was she gonna get out of this one?

"Leena"

"Huh?" Leena said surprised. She was hearing the mysterious knight's voice again. "Think Leena. Think. How can you take all the monsters down in one move?" the knight advised her and Leena started thinking.

Her eyes landed on her bow and arrows and she remembered something. She remembered the professor gave her something on her birthday that might help.

She quickly opened the bag on her leg and took out a white handle and she attached it to her arrow. The pink magic changed to purple and she held the handle above her head.

The purple whip activated and came out on both sides. She spun it in circles and the whip went flying and it took out all the monsters.

"What?!" Apachi said shocked by what just happened. "Yes!" Max said happy, fist pumping. He was so happy to see that Leena was ok. "Whoa" Adira said amazed at her friend's new abilities.

Leena brought the handle down and smirked at it 'Love this new upgrade' she thought in her head. "Thanks Professor" she told Higgabottom and he nodded to her as a way of thanks.

Apachi growled angry and he shot a powerful rush of water straight at Leena. "Leena!" Max yelled and zoomed straight to her and got in front of her and he quickly spun his staff to protect her.

"Remra go after the others!" Apachi ordered and Remra smirked evilly and he charged straight to their friends. "Not this time Remra!" Khan said determined and he got in front of everyone but then his trident glowed blue completely and suddenly a water like seashell shield appeared and when Remra made contact, he couldn't damage it and it sent him flying and he hit the sand. His form was reverted back to his normal form

"What?! But how?! How did you absorb the Water Amulet's shell sheild move?" Apachi asked Khan shocked and in disbelief.

"Because you forgot silly" Magus's voice came up and he was behind Apachi upside down. Apachi turned around and jumped back startled. He glared at the old lion.

"The amulets have the ability to share their magic with others." Magus explained. "It looks like the trident and the lion staff can absorb the amulets' abilites" Higgabottom suggested and Khan looked at his trident amazed but he smiled. He liked this new move.

Magus chuckled but Apachi turned around angry "Stop acting like a kid! You're the Champion! Act like it!" Apachi demanded furious but Magus smirked at him "Kinda funny coming from a child" Magus commented and Apachi growled frustrated.

He opened up a water portal "I want those amulets. And I will get them!" Apachi told them as he and Remra went inside it.

Everyone calmed down and Max turned to Leena smiling. "Great move Leena" he complimented her and she smiled at him but then her face frowned.

"Leena?" Max asked worried, noticing the look pn her face. "That knight came back again. I heard her talking again. She gave me advice. And then I thought about the new whip the professor gave me" she explained and everyone got surprised and wide eye.

"This knight must be a new friend" Higgabottom suggested.

"Great. First Stowaway Snow Leopard here and now a Dream Knight" Tazer commented annoyed and sarcastic.

Adira came and put an elbow on his shoulder, smirking"Looks like new friends are a big help" Adira commented, nudging Tazer with her elbow while to remind him about earlier. Tazer groaned annoyed.

Magus swam up to them "Might be. And I am here to help" Magus told him happy and he faded into yellow magic and that magic went inside Max's Lion Staff.

"I'll be right here to help you along the way. Hee hee hee" the staff glowed as Magus spoke and Max smiled, shaking his head.

Max turned to his friends "Alright then. Let's go find the other amulets and use it to stop Apachi" Max told them and everyone nodded.

Leena however looked worried. "Hey lighten up!" Adira swam up behind Leena and put her arms around her shoulded "You pulled off an epic take all monsters down with one move!" Adira told her excited while lightly punching her shoulder. Leena smiled at her, chuckling.

But when Adira swam off, Leena still wasn't comfortable. Max could sense it so he swam up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. Leena looked up at him "Don't worry Leena. We'll find out who this knight is. Together" Max told her assuringly and Leena smiled at him, cheered up. She nodded to him "Together like always. Let's do this" Leena said confident and everyone swam back to the Phoenix, ready to find the Elemental Amulets.
