I woke up in my room, and almost fell right back asleep, before I noticed a package had been put in through my window. I assumed it was for me, so I decided to get up
I walked over tiredly and looked at the package. Sure enough it was adressed to me. Where had this come from? I looked at it to find any sort of signature, but all I found was "I love you, Hitaru." Written with a marker
I assumed Maiho made it! Sometimes he'll randomly put down gifts for me out of nowhere. I always loved the gifts he gave.
I opened the package and all that was in there was a locket and a slip of paper that said "Goodbye". Wondered what that was about
I picked up the locket, and on closer examination, I realized it was Maiho's. He.. Never took that off. Why'd he give it to me?
I put it on, mostly to see how it looked, and it suddenly had a pink glow.. My favorite color!
I opened it and realized there was nothing in it. Maybe I could put something in?
"Thanks, Maiho!" I said out loud. The locket suddenly filled in. On the left it had a picture of Maiho, and on the right some info. The picture was greyed out. Wonder what that was about. I looked at the info and the first thing that caught my eye made my mood change entirely.
"Status: Deceased"
I gasped and suddenly got upset, tearing up
I shouted at his locket
"you're WRONG! He's NOT dead, you DUMB LOCKET! What do you know ANYWAY, HUH?! If you know he's gone, WHERE IS HE?! TELL ME THAT! NOT THAT HE'S GONE! TELL ME WHERE HE IS YOU PIECE OF /JUNK!/" I screeched
The location part of the status side glowed
"Odaiba woods"
Oh no. I started hyperventilating. This couldn't be right. Maiho would never, would he? He... He told me he wouldn't.
I immediately ran out the door to go find him
This couldn't be true, right?
