The Gaang arrived at Zukos family vacation home on ember island. The weather was great there, not too hot or cold, not a cloud in sight yet not too sunny it was perfect.
Katara would love it here, I hope she wakes up soon.
Aang thought to himself as he lifted her down from appas head. And followed Zuko to a room. The sheets were black but had grey shell silhouettes sewn onto it.
"Here's where Katara can stay, ill show you to your place," Zuko said flipping his hand signalling to follow him. Aang didn't want to leave her side but he knew she would want privacy when she woke up, so Aang followed Zuko to a large room with a twin bed dead centre with the same sheets as kataras.
A few minutes later everyone was settled in and made their way to the foyer to go to the market so they could get the supplies Sokka, Suki, Toph and Zuko didn't get.
"Kataras still not awake yet huh?" Sokka said a little disappointed
"No, but her breathing is fine and nothing seems wrong, she should be up and ready soon." Aang said hopefully.
"Well time to head to the markets we will be gone all day I'd say, Aang do you wanna stay here with Katara just in case?" Suki asked,
"Yep no problem, I was going to stay behind anyway. I was hoping to practice some waterbending because Katara can't teach me yet." Aang shrugged
The gaang had head off and left Aang and sleeping Katara alone.
2 or 3 hours of waterbending went by and Aang decided to check on Katara.
As he walked down the hallway towards her door, he was very confused to see a glowing light coming from under the door, it disappeared and Aang ran over. He knocked asking,"Hey, Katara are you awake?"
When he didn't hear a respond he opened the door to see Kataras eyes open and glowing yet her body was still in the laying position he left her in,
"Oh no," Aang said, he knew what was going on. Katara had entered the spirit world.

"You did it Aang, you saved me," I said before I felt myself becoming too week and falling into a deep sleep. The next thing I knew I opened my eyes, or so I thought. This didn't look like camp at all. It looked like the swamp. I looked around,"Aang? Sokka? Toph?" I called and received no response.
"That's weird, I'm getting some serious Déjà vu right now," I said.
I continued to look around but there was nobody else there but me. I heard someone whisper my name from behind me. I quickly turned and took a fighting stance but when I turned around I couldn't believe my eyes.
"MUM!" I yelled running into her arms, she held me tight. Oh, how I missed this.
"It's ok Katara I'm right here." She said stroking my hair,
"But how, where are we, when did I-" I started to question, I don't think I'd ever been so confused.
"It doesn't matter, all that matters is that we are finally together." She said looking me in the eye.
"It's so good to see you, mum, I have so much to tell you," I shed a tear, I was still in disbelief that this was really happening.
I told her everything, how I joined the avatar, about the North Pole,
about ba sing se, how I had my first heartbreak, how I have a boyfriend and about the commet."You've been on some crazy adventures my little waterbender." She said giving me a warm smile.
"I know, but it's not over yet, we still have to stop ozai before the end of summer and the commet is only a week away," I said
