Chapter 19

And then, I fell into my death, with towering shadows cackling around me.

Just kidding!

But the sense of me possibly being murdered is a big fat 70% chance!

Austin Mays had approached me, he observed every inch of my body.

Those deep black expresso eyes traced my body, burned into my eyes and looked deep into my soul.

His glances made me terrified.

What felt like hours to be standing at the door of Todd Woods bathroom, being stared to death by Austin Mays, was far more worse than any crucial punishment, I've been through.

"Wheres Brianna ,when I need her?"

I thought to myself.

My thoughts were caving in, my anxiety engulfed me in paralyze of a dazed motion.

And then Todd broke the silence, finally.

"Austin step away from Claire." He grunted.

A sigh of relief washed over me, as if I was a stranded being, with a thirst that needed to be quenched.

"Relax Woods, I'm just getting to know little Philips here." Austin chuckled and stepped further away.

I glanced at Todd, who looked scarier than a raged bull.

From his flaring nose, to that deadly look in his eyes.

His knuckles turned ghost white, from holding a fist too long.

I'd admit, Todd looked pretty hot to me right now, but this wasn't the right time for gushing.

"Say Todd, why don't you take your... little kitty here and go have a good time downstairs. I'm sure the party is probably on fire right now." Austin folded his muscular tanned arms, and leaned against Todd's wardrobe.

He was raging Todd even more, with that casual devil's smirk.

I wondered why.

"What could they have spoken about?"

I thought to myself, again.

"Claire, let's go. Brianna is probably worried sick about you." Todd suggested, with a grunt.

Wait.

Todd remembered Bri's name.

He never ever remembers her name. This must be more serious, than I considered.

I gulped in worry and gave off a soft, gentle nod.

'Better to obey, than disobey' , my dad always says.
