Toothless POV: *gods.... I need to find a place to land* I said thinking to myself. I was not feeling good. I've been flying for what felt like years, but hiccup told me only a few hours have past. We were close to the location. But he left my tail fin on lock, so no tricks to pass the time.

"Uhhhhh... toothless? You feeling tired bud?" He asked me in that baby voice he loves to use on me. *I'm gonna have to have a chat with him later about that tone.*

"I..... I need a place to land.... are there any nearby on that map of yours?" I asked back.

"So that's a yes mr. Sleepy head. No need to try and hide it, ok?" He said.

"Hiccup I-" "I said, ok?" He cut me off.

*why are you being so persistent?* I asked in my head.

"Ok....." I pouted.

"That's it tooth, just be straight forward with me ok? It'll help both of us out in the future." *why was he talking about the future?*

"Ok..... but are there?" I asked again.

"Well... if you start heading left at a 45° angle we'll see one in no time" he spoke.

*ha.... silly human, you under estimate my vision!* I felt quite chuffed to see it long before he did.

"Look! Orcas!" Hiccup said, clearly excited.

"Huh, so it is!" I flew lower and slowed down, my claws practically skimming the water. I kept my distance, not wanting to enter a fight. I could tell they recently had children.

"Why can't we get closer? They are nice creatures!" I heard hiccup whine like a child.

"I want to keep you safe and they want to keep their young safe, remember that they are animals like me, not humans like you. And I'm sure I gave you a great example of what a mother does when they think their children are under threat, but you humans seem to trust others with your young.... which doesn'tseem like a grand idea..." I thought back to the typhoomerang.

"They have children? How could you tell?" He asked as I flew higher and picked up some speed.

"Mind reading, obviously." I said in a sarcastic tone. "No. I could smell the scent of a baby in that group, now we best get a break on that island." I said, only moments away from it.

After a smooth landing, hiccup went into the woods to do something, but he took all of the things he strapped to my saddle off before going. I offered to come with him but he told me to stay put.

It was a lush green forest, the sun was much warmer here, I was relaxed, but I knew this wasn't the destination.

I was refreshing myself with a swim in a lake not too far from the landing point, which cought hiccups eye, I could see him watching me from behind a few trees. I was cought off gard at first but didn't make it noticeable, I ended up playing around in the water and trying to act cute. Which made him come closer, still hidden. *you foolish human....* i put on a wide grin, then with a forceful swish of my tail, he was completely drenched in water.

"AH!!! TOOTHLESS!!!!" He shouted and jumped in the lake with me. Splashing my face with water, it was great fun! But it was getting a little too cold for him so we needed to stop.

He dried off, as did I, but we had our break, now time for the flying. He strapped up the luggage to my saddle once more and we were off.

"Hiccup?" I said moments after take off.

"What is it bud?" He was looking at his map once more.

"How far is it?"

"Well, we would get there in around an hour if we stay at this speed."

"Then put that thing away and unlock my tail." I really want to get there.

"Heh, if you say so!" He done so and got into position.

Without hesitation, I instantly sped up. *we'll get there in no time!*

And I was right, around 20 minutes later hiccup pointed at an island below us. I slowly glided down, landing softly on a tall hill.

"Well that took longer than expected!" I said.

"It was only three hours. And I guess it was kinda my fault.... I didn't need to pack as much...." i seen him scratching his neck.

"Don't worry about it, we got here in the end, didn't we? Anyway. Can you get this stuff off me?" I asked politely.

"Oh, yeah, of course." He took the weight off my back.

"Can I go for a nap? My wings are killing me." I felt a bit of pain spreading through the base of them.

"Awww.... why are you asking me for permission? Go ahead! You kinda deserve it..."

"Jusy incase you needed something from me..." I curled up into my normal sleeping position and dozed off.

Hiccup POV: I was having fun unpacking, I had a whole camp site set up. One large sheet which was supported by four birch trees, with many hides bundled up for toothless in the middle, and a small sleeping bag with blankets beside it, the area was lit up by a few lanterns. I brought some tools and materials with a flat sheet of metal incase of any damage done to toothless's tail. I was quite impressed with how the whole thing looked and somehow didn't wake toothless with all the hammering.

*jeez bud you must have really needed this nap* I said whilst I walked to his side, but I was quite tired myself.....

"Hope you don't mind bud" I sat down with my back leaning against his side. He pulled me in with a wing which took me by surprise, but he adjusted out position. I was pressed against his warm chest as I was on top of him now, I could hear his calm breathing which made his chest rise and fall, along with me. *I wish you knew just how much I love ya buddy....* I said in my head, and passed out moments later.
