Healing wounds (Under Re-write)

PART 9 A Hard Days Work

Toothless POV: I woke up, everything was dark... I tried to stand, but a strange force stopped me. *oh yeah, I slept with cloudjumper...* I said in my head.

"Oh! Your awake alpha? Sorry, you just felt a little cold so I covered you with my wings..."

"I was cold? Hiccup said I'm always warm...." i faced down towards his chest, I was still laying on top of him.

"Your temperature dropped during the night, you feeling sick pal?" He asked me.

"I-I think so? my head hurts...."I replied with.

"Well, I guess I could help you around? Keep an eye on you? Sadly your needed by the pack today..." He said with a slight tad of worry in his throat.

"Heh.... can't see why not...." I said, and grumbled out because of the pain my headache is giving me... which he heard.

"That ain't a good sign... you sure you don't want to take the day off? Me and stormfly could fill in for you?" Is worry grew as time passed.

"I'll be fine cloud... let's just go..." he already placed me on the ground at this point, and I started to walk towards the cave entrance with him following closely beside me.

Sadly my brake is over, so that means he has to respect me as the alpha. Not toothless. No touching, no back talking, and deep respect...

-------time skip-------

We went on a few trips across the island, checking up on the dragons, sorted out some problems. All that fun stuff.... but on the very last hours of my shift one couple.... Gods they weren't happy....

"So what seems to be the problem you two?" I questioned them. Both were deadly nadders. Slightly bigger than I was but still much smaller than cloudjumper.

"She's been slacking off! Hone for a full day! Our children went hungry because she couldn't be bothered getting them food! She left me to do that!" The male yelled at me. Taking two steps closer to me.

Cloudjumper put a wing in front of him, blocking his path. He gave a menacing stare towards the young nadder, my view was blocked by his wing but I heard him taking a few steps back.

"Erm...... I'll get somone to deliver some food to your young, but Please, let's handle this quietly, my head is hurting so I want this done fast." I said, trying to hide the pain this guy was causing me.

"Sorry, alpha." He bowed his head, but he said it with a growl. the female started to talk. "in all respect alpha, but do you mind if I could take the day off? He hasn't been listening and cut me off every time I try to explain myself. so could you?" She spoke.

"Well, I'm all ears! It seems that you two are having relationship problems.... so I'm open to hear what you wish to say in your own defense. And of course, you can have it off." I glanced at the male, he was pissed. But he didn't speak.

"Well, I've been searching the nearby islands for the resources that the humans require, but somthing seemed to happen, I don't know what happened but I felt extraordinarily tired, so I took a nap and lost track of time. I know I should have came back here and told someone, but I didn't have the energy... I could hardly walk. So I thought it was the best thing to do at the time. I'm sorry..."she looked worried.

"No need for apologies. I'd say that's acceptable, and your mate here should have reported your absence. Isn't that right?" I turned to him, he looked up. And bared his teeth at me.

"You dare. You think you can say I'm in the wrong!?" He raised his voice.

"Heh. You complain about having to feed your own children and yell at her for not doing it for you? Plus, I don't recall hearing you care about the fact that something happened to her on a far away island? And she said you didn't want to hear her excuse? What were you doing that was so important that lead you to not telling anyone about her going missing?" He was silent for a moment, realising he was in the wrong.

"You're no leader, you are a disgrace." He hissed at me. And took off...

"Wow.... dick move..." cloudjumper said. And earned a little chuckle from me, which made him turn to me with a smile.

the female turned towards me after watching her mate fly off. "Thank you, alpha. I'm sorry that he was causing trouble, but he'll probably come back soon with some strange sappy apology, haha." She bowed her head, then slowly walked away.

"Well.... that was.... something?" I stood still, trying to understand what on earth just happened.

"Yes... it was..." cloudjumper was also slightly confused.

"Jeez, its getting late... can we call it a day?" I questioned out of tiredness.

"You've done all you need to do for the day... I recommend going home, ii think hiccup is worried about you." He told me, and walked me home, after saying our goodbyes, I went inside.

"Toothless? Where have you been big guy?" Stoick said over his shoulder, he was cooking dinner.

"Sorry, just got caught up on some stuff..." I could smell the stew being prepared. I got up the small stairs and opened the door a little to poke my head in.

"Toothless!?" Hiccup seemed to have spotted me. I entered the room and shut the door behind me. Only to be knocked off my feet when hiccup hit my side with a great hug.

"Oh my Gods I missed you!"he moved his arms more securely around my neck and put himself on top of my exposed underside.

"I missed you too...." I returned the hug. We remained in this position for a solid five minutes before he spoke up again.

"Where were you? Are you feeling ok?" He asked me, but his voice was muffled cus he was speaking against my scales.

"I was just sorting out some issues, and I'm feeling fine, just have a headache." I told him all I wanted to tell... now ain't the time.

"Well I hope you feel better soon buddy... and you look exhausted... why don't you go to sleep, I'll wake you up when our dinners ready?"

I yawned. "Fine...." I didn't have anything better to do....

Hiccup climbed off me so I got up and walked towards my bed, but I couldn't heat it up? Something is definitely wrong.... but I shrugged it off and with one eye hardly open, I watched hiccup sketch me in his book.... I dozed off.... letting him do whatever it was he was doing.....

(I might re-write the older chapters.... I hope this ain't just getting boring.... I have lots more to add to this story but if any of you guys want anything added to the story line, I'd be happy to try and include it! I've not ran out of ideas, but.... let's just say we're FAAAAAAR from the end XD so some of your requests could be added to the story If you give me suggestions, or I could just continue if that's what you guys want me to... just a fun little idea I thought of! XD)
