Toothless POV: I was making my way through the clustered forest, springing into the air every now and then, avoiding boulders, streams, holes and tipped over trees. The screams came closer and closer with each step I took. I heard faint growls coming from the same area, obviously from some form of creature. I didn't care what it was, but it was after him. I felt myself pick up the pace in even more panic, I was clearly determined to reach them. I seen a clearing near a river, covered in furs, tents, bags, all gathered around a small fire pit in the centre. It was quite obviously, where they were located. I seen hiccup in front of Astrid and Fishlegs, on a bolder flailing a torch at the three barking creatures just feet in front of them. I jumped passed the last few trees before the shoreline. bearing my teeth and giving a nasty roar as I done so, knowing they were too close to the humans for a plasma blast. I landed with a thump, catching the dark orange ones neck between my teeth and threw it to the side, landing conveniently in the water. I turned to face the other ones, jumping between the humans and the larger wolves of the three. swiping my front paws in their direction. Catching the biggest one in the side, forcing it to roll across the ground with the impact. It whined as a result. I had no understanding as to why I held back. I could have easily killed them all, but I didn't. But now wasn't the time for questioning. I faced the third, which made it run in fear, leaving his friend on the ground. Still highly injured. I wasn't expecting it to get up again, but it tried, again and again, only to fall each time with a howl of pain. I left my anger behind. No longer having a need for it. I spun round to check up on the humans, only to be greeted with a warm tight hug from hiccup, and praise from the others, who were now looking at each other. And began an argument over weponry. "I'm.... I'm sorry Toothless...." Hiccup said in a rather exhausted sigh. "Sorry for what? Am I missing out on something?" I pulled him in with my left paw. I felt him slightly shaking when I was rubbing his back in a comforting motion, but that seemed like an appropriate enough response to the situation from a human. "I was doubtful.... I didn't think you'd come...." he wispered into my ear. "Why wouldn't I? It's not as if I have anything better to do!" I chuckled in an attempt to cheer him up, which seemed to work when I felt his torso shaking in a different pattern. He was laughing. "Yeah, who am I. To doubt the great nightfury? The alpha?" He laughed a little harder, I was glad he was having a good time, But sensed a cheeky smirk grow on his face. He was well aware I felt teased when he talked of me that way, but I made him take note that he was having a pardon this one time. It didn't stop him from giving me a pat on the head. And seeing as it was a more appropriate time to stop hugging, he began loosening the hold he had on me, I done the same, and returned my paw to the ground. We held the stare between us for a few moments longer, both of us stayed silent. Astrid broke our stare, and requested hiccup to help her in dealingwith the wolf. So I thought it best to assist Fishlegs in packing up the small camp.
They were busy for some amount of time, and I was getting bored, wanting to go home. but was told it wouldn't take much longer. I could have easily grabbed hiccup, but knew he wouldn't be very happy, so I had to stop myself. They moved on when getting the wolf to a safe area, but wanted to look at the scenery for a little while longer. So I played around for a while, it was really fun! I was practicing my pouncing, leaping into the air, and landing gracefully, but on my most previous attempt, I hopped up, only to crash down onto an unstable ledge. Sending me tumbling down a hill I was told not to go down. I was a little panicked in my upturned state, But I seen a human like figure in the corner of my eye, thinking it was just a Viking lost and needing help, I let go of that slimmer of fear, and began to sprint straight at the silloet, bounding towards him with puppy like enthusiasm. but by the time I got to his location, he vanished. I looked around, not getting a single trace. except the air. It seemed....... off....... not long after, I felt rather dizzy, in fact. It was really messing with my brain. And once again, falling to the ground. But this time, the fall hurt. I tried crying out for help when I realized I was now paralyzed, my attempts were useless. when I heard human like footsteps approaching me, I kicked me into a strong panic. I didn't recognize the pattern of their steps. But I then felt something push down on my head, which was laying flat on the cold ground. Preventing me from opening my jaw. As if I could do that anyway... my eyes were heavy, I could only see a blurred slimmer of the world around me. My ears were ringing. Everything hurt, all my senses were weakened. And just before I finally lost the battle with my eye lids, I seen a large blue figure approaching rapidly, I didn't feel, see, or hear anything after that, my eyes shut, I stopped listening....... I......... was.....
