"Wait wait wait you're telling me there's an exam?" I zoned back into the class at that word - exam. Oh god I'm usually good at exams, I can get by alright but this time i completely forgot to study. 'O H   N O   T H I S   I S   B A D.' "Yes, we have one. Shouldn't be a problem for you, though L/n?" Momo chirped. 'L/n? Did I do something to offend her? Weird..?' I shrugged it off as her having a bad day, until she offered to tutor pretty much everyone in class, and completely blank me. Is Momo okay?

I looked at her dumbfounded as she glanced at me with a frown, almost daring me to ask to join her. I offered her a smile and didn't receive one in turn. Huh. "..then I'll tutor you myself!" I turned to the angry voice of Katsuki, who was loudly yelling at Kirishima that he would tutor him. Maybe they have room for another?

"Hey, Katsuki, since you're tutoring Kiri, can I join?" I bounced over to his desk, leaning on it with my hands. Something's off with Momo, so this is my best bet if I'd like some help. He scoffed at me. "You? Why, you don't need help!" "Was that a compliment?" "Fuck off! You want tutoring or not?!" I giggled. "That's great, let's discuss it further later! Thanks Katsuki." I ruffled his spiky hair and went back to my desk, ignoring the tirade of curses I got for touching his hair.

❁ Timeskip ❁

I stood outside the cafe we were instructed to meet at, furrowing my brow at my phone. It's been nearly a week, and Momo hasn't really been friendly to me. I have a feeling this is more deep-rooted than one bad day, like she decided that she doesn't like me anymore. I've tried to reach out to her but to no avail. Oh well, studying is the main focus currently. I shoved my phone into my pocket and glanced up, checking for signs of either boy.

"Oh, hey Y/n, you're early." "Hurry up and go inside, it's cold!" I smiled at the two vastly contrary greetings I got from the two boys, and let Katsuki lead the way inside. We found a table and set our books out. I took note of the not-so-subtle way Katsuki sat next to me, and bit back a laugh. I pulled out a notebook and began answering my first set of questions. After getting stuck on the second one, I could tell this was going to be difficult.

"And conductivity?" "Conductivity is measured in micromhos per centimeter or microsiemens per centimeter. Please tell me that's the last one, I can't do this anymore." I planted my head on the table, letting out a small huff. "God, you're so whiny." "Actually, that is the last one! We're so prepared." Kirishima said excitedly. "Wait really? Aw hell yeah, let's go get dango!"

We packed up our books, and trotted out of the cafe, to a small dango store i'd seen on the way here. I'd had the sweet treat from them before, so i knew it was good. Unfortunately, Kirishima had to leave almost immediately, so we bid him goodbye (well I did, Katsuki isn't great at being friendly.) and i promised to bring him some dango into school to make up for it. He seemed fine with this, and soon it was just me and Katsuki walking along in the park.

"Is it nice?" I asked, referring to the multicoloured dango in his hand. He nodded, oddly calm for once. The whole scenario was peaceful, and i gave a loud contented sigh. "Hey, Katsuki?" "What?" "Thank you for tutoring me today. You didn't have to, but you did, for both me and Kiri." He pause and looked down at me scornfully. "Kiri? You gave him a nickname?" I quirked an eyebrow. "Uh, yeah? Why, do you want one too?" He glared and looked away, huffing.

"Like hell I do! Nicknames are stupid! "Okie dokie then, will it be Kat or Suki?" "Fuck no! Suki's a girl's name! And so is kat!" "Okay, well if you don't want a nickname, I guess I'll--" "Kat is fine." He glared in my general direction, but it somehow wasn't as harsh as it could be. I grinned. "Woo, I'm gonna call you Kat from now on then. So, you wanna-- Oop." I cut myself off, after feeling a large drip on my nose. I looked up and a raindrop fell right into my eye. 'Oof man down rip.'
