Kao's POV

It was a really bad day. Nothing was going according to plan. We had lost a really important deal for the business. Above that, it was an unexpected rainy day which just made it all worse. I just wanted this day to end.

"Oii Kao, I think you should fix that scowl on your face. It really looks like you are constipated", Boun said.

"Shia Boun, just shut up" I snapped. If he weren't my best friend and a good worker, I would've beaten him up by now.

"Boun stop teasing him.Maybe you need a good, warm drink to calm you down." Ohm said. Thank god for Ohm or boun would surely have gotten an earful from me.

"Look there's my friends' café. Let's cheer you up." Prem, another one of my friends and co- worker said.

The idea of a hot cup of coffee did appeal to me. "Let's go."

Blu's Cafe was a small, cosy cafe radiating warmth. It had really comforting decor with light and lively colours.

As we entered, the first thing I caught was the mouth watering smell of baked goodies and aromatic coffee. Boun, Prem, Ohm and I made our way towards to register to look at the menu and order.

"Oh! Fluke! Didn't know this was the cafe you talked about.", Ohm said as we reached the counter.

"Oh! P', yeah.", the cute guy named fluke said shyly.

Looking at our confused faces, Ohm explained that fluke and he recently started dating. I raised my brow hearing that as Ohm was pretty much like me and didn't really date. I started browsing through the menu, thinking about how Boun has Prem and now Ohm has Fluke.

Prem and Fluke started chatting and we got to know that Fluke and their friend Earth run the place together and that the three of them have been friends since high school.

We all ordered desserts and drinks on fluke's recommendations and sat on a table nearby. The cafe was empty as it was raining. Suddenly, someone came out from what I presumed is the kitchen holding our orders with Fluke.Woah... It was the prettiest guy I have ever seen. With a big smile he approached our table wearing a cute apron. he looks so cute..I snapped out of my stupor when our drinks were placed on the table.

"OH! Hi Earth!" Prem enthusiastically greeted the boy. So his name is Earth...why do I care. Snap out of it Kao.

"Hello everyone. I'm Earth. Nice to meet you all!" He greeted sweetly. I can't help but melt at his honey like voice. Everyone greeted him cheerfully.
