My Beta Girl

Prologue

"You need to stop doing this and accept her as your Luna" our Gamma Erwin pushed me inside our Alpha's study, he was glaring  at me......... Oh Boy!  here comes another lecture!

"...................All she tried to do was to spent some time with you Sele, why don't you just forgive her for that one time and try getting along?"

"Over your dead body Erwin" I glared back. He shook his head but I could see the shiver that ran down his spine.  Ha! He hides his fear well.......... Oh how I long to gain the full power....... Erwin can still break through my command.

"Grow up Selena! your death threats no longer work!" he exclaimed confidently.  

I gave him a threatening grin stepping forward. 

"Jesus! Fine! I not immune to your threats or command. " he said flicking my head.

"Hey!" I pouted holding my forehead, way to be intimidating 

He sighed, "But  seriously Sele, you should not ignore and insult her like that, she is Robin's mate and our Luna. If you don't respect her none of our warriors or kids never will."

"I know and I hate that! With all the girls he could be with it had to be her" I growled angrily.

"Selena! You can't go on-" The door was banged open.

"You did it again!" Robin, our Alpha  glared at me.

"Yes, she won't leave me alone! I had to do that!" I glared back at my best friend.

"Okay guys, I think I'm gonna leav-"

"Don't you dare!" we both glared at our 20-year old Gamma who looked like a scared pussy cat about to take off. 

Erwin took a glance at both of us, sighed loudly settling down on the sofa, "No physical fight! Yell at each other all you want! 3..... 2........1 ... GO!".   It was an occasional occurrence for us, with a hot-head Alpha and sarcastic insulting  future beta like me, dear Erwin had to 'suffer' being the referee..................

_______ after 5 minutes______

"Better?" Erwin asked.

"You know she's my mate right? I love her!" Robin whispered sadly.

"Oh here comes the emotional crap" commented Erwin rolling his eyes. I threw another glare at him.

"I hate her Robin and the fact you are on her side than mine"

"There are no sides! You both are an important part of my life, I can't live without either of you! Atleast give her a chance Selena!"

I sighed, his words really hit home. I was hurting my best friend not accepting his mate, our new Luna but still........."I just don't like the fact that you no longer give me slightest bit of attention,  is our friendship going to change because of  a new person?"

Robin's eyes softened as the realization hit him. It was true, he had been acting unbothered and indifferent to most of the pack matters and since he confirmed that Jessica is his mate, all his time goes to that annoying whinny bitch.

 Warm arms were wrapped around me as he pulled me into  a tight hug.............. I sighed softly I had missed my best friend. "This" he said pointing to him and me, "is not ever going to change. The bond we hold is too special, you are like a sibling to me. Selena, don't ever forget that".

 Maybe......... just maybe I could try forgiving her for what she did. After all even I wasn't the most politest little sister when we met either, it was just a big misunderstanding which she apologized for several times. Jesse, Robin's mate and our new Luna had initially misunderstood Robin and my relationship and tried getting in between us by spreading false rumors. She didn't knew we were like siblings and tried doing some nasty bitching about it. She didn't like the fact that I always 'hung' around her crush . I of-course got angry and punched few of her friends. When Robin got to know about this issue he confronted her and acted coldly towards her for several weeks. She kept apologizing to me but I always ignored, insulted or made her cry. Well, it seems like I'm more at fault here since she never complained or said anything back. She felt guilty and accepted my anger.  That was a year ago.

  I hugged him tighter "Maybe I'll try getting along"

"That's all I could ask for! And sorry for acting like a jerk and pushing all the work to you guys!" Robin guiltily glanced at me and Erwin.  I pulled away and smiled at him.

"It's fine, you deserved a break" I whispered back.

"Are you both done with the sappy attitude?" Erwin rolled his eyes standing up.

"Robin! What do you think about a new Gamma?" I playfully asked.

"I wouldn't mind. Any names on the top of your head?" He grinned back, our moods changing around in a 180°.

"How about Jason? He's pretty good at training" I grinned back.

Erwin rolled his eyes "Dumb kids" he whispered fondly "Don't forget I am the oldest and in-charge here"

"What did you say?" Robin asked in his Alpha tone.

Erwin grunted displeasure and annoyance, he hated when we used our commands "Nothing Alpha!"

Her big blue eyes brightened as I asked her for the tomato sauce  bottle. 

"Are you talking to me?" she hopefully asked.......... pathetic.

"Yes bitch! Now pass me that" I rolled my eyes. But the glimmer in her eyes didn't fade, she was happy............. pathetic, it felt like she was chasing after me more than Robin. How long has it been? A year? I sighed, but Robin made it clear that he wouldn't do anything with her until she gains my approval........... 

It was only Robin, Erwin, me and her in the house.  Dad had gone to the Ace pack as Bloodmoon pack's Beta for Jessica's transfer deal. 

Robin was in the washroom,  Erwin who sat on the other edge of the sofa glared at me.

"You promised, you'll be nice!" Robin hit the back of my head lightly as he returned.

I glared at him"That's the politest I can be"

"But she spoke to me! For the first time!" Jessica jumped on her seat excitedly.

Robin shook his head but I could see the corner of his lip twitched up, his eyes were soft. He only ever looked like that at me.......... huh, mating bond.....

 "Don't be so happy bitch! I still don't like you" I huffed looking away. Her beautiful blue eyes were shinning as a hopeful smile clutched her lips. Her blond hair were tied in a braid, unmarked pale skin, clothed in blue sundress which clutched all her curves nicely................. a perfect submissive cute mate and Luna.    

Complete opposite of over-sized shirt and jeans, rough appearance and skin of limbs and torso covered with fight marks.................... She didn't even knew how to fight properly, weak and dependent. I sighed but when I do look at her hopeful expressions I can't deny that she is sweet, patient and optimistic. Maybe I can get used to her, my wolf already likes her, not enough to submit but at-least be curious and respectful. 

"I'll win over you eventually!" her determine gaze met mine. 

I looked away "Don't be so confident Luna!"

Erwin chocked his food trying to laugh and Robin wrapped his arm around her kissing her cheek "Look! She's already calling you Luna"

My eyes widened at that as I blushed looking away with embarrassment at the slip of my tongue.

"Aww......... she looks so adorable!"  

"I think your future Beta is starting to like you Luna" Erwin encouraged her smirking at me.

I glared at them. But she  did  fit in their teasing team perfectly................*sigh* 

There goes my hope......
