My Beta Girl

Chapter 3.

If Jesse was here I bet she would be jealous............... by the intensity of which Robin was looking at my poor mate...... glaring to be exact.  While Kyle was squirming in his seat. 

Kyle was seated on my right while Robin decided to sit in-front of us. It feels like I'm introducing my eloped lover to my father.......... Screw that! Even dad won't be so hostile while meeting my mate. He's more of a easy going quiet guy, kind of similar to Kyle. They'll get along well. 

There was a uncomfortable silence on our table.

I glared at who ever stared our way with odd expressions, can't I just introduce my Mate to my bestfriend in peace?

 Now that I think about it, was it wrong to sit alone? I could use a few of my jolly tension-diffusing warriors here.

I coughed "What did you think about the new science teacher? Robin? Kyle?"

"She is alright" Robin replied not looking away from Kyle.

"I like Mrs. Orwin's teaching style" Kyle squeaked out, still cowering under my stupid best friend, Alpha's glare.

I can't take it anymore.......

"Robin! Stop looking at my mate like that, my wolf might get possessive!"

At that Robin chocked his drink and started coughing,  Kyle looked at me with wide eyes and crimson face.

I covered my mouth to stop the laughter from escaping.

"For the love of god Selena! I am a fully mated straight male wolf!" Robin announced with a glare.

I couldn't hold it in anymore......................... I burst out laughing. The two male wolves gave me a weird look.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't help it" I replied wiping the tears from the corner of my eyes.  

"...."

"Kyle! How are you going home today?" I questioned looking at the sweet mate of mine.

"I usually go by bus. Sometimes Paul drops me" this time he was less tensed and even flashed me a smile.

"Paul?"

"He's an omega from Ace pack, a friend of mine"

I nodded with a bright smile"I would like to meet him sometime"

He grinned back with pink cheeks, "He'll like that too, he is big fan of your fights"

"Really?Then-"

"Ahm!......" Robin coughed breaking our conversation.

"What ?" I asked my annoying Alpha with a frown.

"I had a few questions for Kyle....... So Kyle. Are both your parents omega?" his tone almost reminds me of a prison interrogation.

I rolled my eyes, he could've asked them before, instead of glaring at him for first ten minutes. 

Kyle instantly answered like a obedient pup,"No sir, my mother is an omega. My birth father was warrior of Dark shade pack. After his death my mother decided to move back to her original pack with me and my elder brother"

My eyes widened at the new information, Dark Shade pack is one of those packs where omegas are not kept. By that I mean, if they can't rise to the position of warriors they are brutally murdered. It's a inside secret of the council. All the original members of Dark Shade are male, females only come in by mating. There are many hidden secrets in that pack, sometimes even council refuses to interfere with internal pack matters, but there have been on council's black list for a while.
