[PAST; a year before present time]

[Y/N] was upset. She couldn't believe that her husband was going around slaying demons with no regard for his style whatsoever. Or, well, that's what she thought when she noticed that his usual headband had loose jewels. He was flamboyant as hell, so he couldn't go outside wearing that! No way she'd let him!
Tengen had a mission the next day, and so, Yua went and stole his headband from his dressing table. She didn't really steal it, because she would give it back later, but it felt that way for her.
She returned to the common room with the headband and a bunch of materials and jewelled boxes on her arms. She just scattered them on the table and sat there, with only one light on enough for her to work. She didn't wish to wake up the others.
She checked the quality of the jewels, which obviously didn't do justice to her husband, so she decided to replace them with ones of better quality, yet she made sure to leave a couple of them intact so it looked more like a brand new version of his original headband instead of a completely different one.
She was determined to do it right.
It was 3am and she had barely had enough sleep, but she needed to finish inserting them before 7am, when Tengen would most likely wake up and have breakfast before leaving for his mission. It was a very far away one, so he needed to leave early.
An hour passed.
Suma dragged her feet through the halls of the giant place, rubbing one eye and covering a yawn with her other hand. She was thirsty enough to go get a glass of water.
She paused, noticing that the lights were on. If she hadn't seen [Y/N]'s hair tied in her characteristic jewelled bow, she would've screamed thinking that it was a ghost.
"Yu-chan, what are you doing here so late?"
[Y/N] jolted on her seat, quickly placing a hand over her fast-beating heart. But realizing that the only person that called her that way was Suma, she let out a relieved sigh before turning around on her chair to face her.
"I'm working"
Suma shrugged and nodded, then dragged her feet to the kitchen. She prepared hot chocolate for the both of them, and sat next to [Y/N] to watch her work, occasionally sipping on the warm drink and making sure she did the same. She stayed wanting to give [Y/N] some company... and also because the dark hallways seemed to be scarier now that she was wide awake.
They stayed that way until dawn arrived. The rays of the sun lightened the house, along with [Y/N]'s satisfied smile below her eyebags. Suma had crossed her arms on the table and used it as a pillow, she had fallen asleep just a couple minutes before the sun began to rise. [Y/N] pulled a blanket over her and caressed her hair softly for a couple minutes, watching the other three people who were previously asleep come into the room and kitchen to prepare and eat breakfast.
"Good morning!"
"Mornin'"
Tengen was dressed up in his uniform already, missing his headband.
"Oi, have you seen my headband somewhere? I swore I left it on the dressing table..."
Hinatsuru and Makio both shook their heads, the latter eating a toast while the first one made pancakes for both [Y/N] and Suma.
[Y/N] got closer to him and placed his stylish headband on the table, joining her hands behind her back and looking straight at him. He was sitting and she was standing up, so she could comfortably look at his reaction.
He stared at the headband, and then at his youngest wife, and then back at it... he was lost for words. A huge grin crept up to his face.
"When did you...?" he blinked several times in disbelief "It looks so... perfect! I knew that you were flamboyant even before I made you my wife, but how perfectly divine can you get?"
[Y/N] giggled, giving him a closed eyes smile. While a headpat or a hug would be nice, she was happy just receiving his praise.
"If I'm the god of flamboyance, you're the goddess of jewelry herself!"
Hinatsuru clapped, smiling too at the cute scene before her eyes.
Meanwhile, Suma was drooling on her sleep while Makio just focused on eating her food.
It was quite a peaceful moment, and [Y/N] was happy to receive praise, but after spending a sleepless night working, she just wanted to eat her pancakes and go take a twelve hour name.
The goddess of jewelry deserved a little bit of sleep.

"LOOK AT WHAT MY FLAMBOYANT WIFE MADE! It's beautiful, isn't it? You can only WISH you had her as a wife!" Tengen laughed, loudly, with his chest high as she showed the jewelled headband as if it was the most precious item in the world.
The pillars, unamused, limited themselves to stare at him. Kagaya, on the other side of things, smiled kindly with his eyes closed.
"That's very nice, Tengen. But we're currently on a meeting, would you mind waiting until we're done so we can all properly appreciate her artwork?" he said, calmly, to which Tengen halted and kneeled back down like the others, muttering an apology for being loud about it.
When it comes to [Y/N], he's just too excited to contain himself.
