Privo didn't seem to like my proposal of spending our weekend on the beaches of Madridejos. Kumunot lang ang noo niya noong sinabi ko ito.

"What's with that face? You don't want to be with me? Okay lang naman. Just tell me." Kunwaring hindi ako nagtatampo.

Inayos ko ang nakalagay na kumot sa katawan at iniyakap ang unan ko para hindi niya mapansin ang ekspresyon ko.

["No... I want to be with you, Seraphina. I just don't know if I'm ready to be alone with you."] Napairap ako.

"No one is ever ready in life, Privo. Huwag ka ngang umasta na parang hindi mo ako nahawakan na. Sure, we did a little bit of foreplay. But that was so little! In fact, I'm starting to think you're not really go-"

Hindi pa ako tapos sa pagsasalita ngunit dumaing na ang kausap ko. ["Stop bringing that card out, Seraphina..."]

"Well, I have the right, Puertollano. Besides, marami kang kasalanan sa akin. This weekend trip will make it up. Pupunta ka ba o hindi?"

The next days flew so fast like they were blown by the wind. Sa sumunod na araw pagkatapos naming mag-usap ni Privo tungkol sa pagpunta sa Madridejos ay nagkita ulit kami ni Angela.

The difference is, I was alone... with my twenty thousand pesos for Angela, and her yummy Taho.

Nagalit siya pero wala namang nagawa. She also said that she couldn't say no because her father is facing some lung problems. I told her to give me her number so in case anything comes up... I can help.

Wednesday until Friday were those hectic days for us. Bigla-bigla nalang nagdeklara ang school na hell week ngayon. And I thought they were joking. Turns out, they aren't!

"Ano? May test na naman bukas?" Angal ni Wyatt.

Nagkibit-balikat lang ako at napatango. "Kakasabi nga lang diba? Are you deaf, Wyatt?"

"Pero may test din tayo sa tatlong major bukas!"

"Am I the damn professor, Wyatt?!"

Hindi na ulit kami nagkita pa ni Privo. If the second-year college students are busy, how much more the third and fourth years? Halos hindi ko na nga makita sina Kuya Zach at River.

Speaking of my brother and cousin, they are awfully busy too. At hindi lang dahil sa paaralan. Tungkol din sa personal nilang buhay.

One second, I see River talking to a girl who looks like Divina's enemy, Salazar. The next second, I see Divina with a damn mystery man in the hallways, Evianna in the most isolated place in the school, and Yvette Laurel strutting down the corridors like she's not Privo's number one perverted fan!

Nagpapasalamat lang ako na Biyernes na ngayon.

"Divina, do you have my favorite Gucci blouse?"

Umiling lang ang pinsan ko na nag-iimpake rin. Nasa iisang kwarto kaming lahat, inaayos na ang mga gamit.

This mansion will be completely empty for the next two days. Sa unang pagkakataon ay lahat kami may pupuntahan na probinsya o kaya lungsod.

I don't know what went inside the heads of the elderly Divinagracias. Suddenly, they're sending us to our abandoned properties all over the country!

"You're planning to swim, Zuri?" Tinuro ni River ang dala kong two-piece.

Oh, more than just swimming, River. I'm going to skinny dip with Privo in the white sands of Madridejos!
