Chapter 12
" can I come in " I nodded my head opening the door wider for her to enter the house.
Why would Reesha asking for my forgiveness all of a sudden.
She should sha be fast and go because my food is getting cold.
I followed her into the sitting room after closing the door.
" like I said I want to apologize, I don't want to fight anymore " she said looking anywhere but me.
Let me not lie, this girl is funny, I shook my head.
" who said I was fighting with you "
She looked at me surprised at my words. I am surprised too, but then again why would I stress because she doesn't want to be my friends, is not by force.
In this kind of situation you have to use common sense, something that you have to learn if you are going to live in Nigeria.
" look I can't kill myself again if you don't want to talk to me " I said smiling at her because of the confused look on her face.
Once again shaking my head I stood up from were I sat walking around a bit.
" see, this how I am, " I said thinking aloud so she would hear me.
" This life is to short to stress myself for some stupid reason, "I shrugged my shoulders looking at the floor as I played with my fingers.
" and I guess you have to learn that too, because you... are trying to be someone you are not... because... because you are angry with me. " this reminds me of my brother, he's in University at London, normally we get into arguments, then I start to lecture him and tell him about my life experiences that makes me more mature than him and he ends up giving up because he knows I'm making sense... or not.
" no, maybe, you are angry with yourself, " see I'm starting to make sense.
" I'm not angry with you, I didn't realise how bad I was being " she said looking up at me.
" but do you know what you were doing was bad, " I sat beside her looking at her seriously, the whole thing is just making me feel smart.
" did you ever think of the consequences of what you were doing? "she was still quiet.
I stood up and started demonstrating with me hand adding emphasis to my words.
" see when this kind of things happen you have to think of what it is going to add to your life, " I went to the door and signaled for her to follow.
" Is it going to add something good or bad to your life, " I opened the door and pushed her outside.
" now I want you to sit down and think of what I have said " I slowly closed the door, sighing as I turned around.
Finally she's gone, I am starving.

I am presently reading a book in the park.
After eating my master piece, which I have to say was delicious, I did homework and my family came home, so I slept and that is how I am in today.
I came to the park to relax, and prepare my mind for school tomorrow, and that is how I found myself reading under this... tree.
But you know it isn't very easy to concentrate why you are listening to two very different songs at the same time.
I looked up from my book for the millionth time, glaring at the source of music, I took off my headset and put my book in my little black bag.
I am sick of this, if these dancers are going to dance they shouldn't make the music so loud, like this is a park people.
I stood up from were I was sitting on the bench and walked to were they were dancing.
The music is way louder from here, I doubt they would hear me, but it's worth a try. I'm doing this for my story book.
" excuse me " well that didn't sound as loud as I expected.
" excuse me " I said more loudly this time, catching the attention of one of the dancer, the leader I guess, because he was in the front and the leader is always in the front... right.
He walked over to were I was standing.
" Um hi can I help you " I tried my very best not to tell him how horrible he smelt, because if all that sweat, I want to puke.
" why don't you help me turn down the music " I said trying my best to be loud enough so he would hear me.
He just shrugged and walked over to the speaker and turned the music down.
See that was easy.
I smiled to myself and watched as he walked back to me... hold up, why is he coming back.
" so what can I help you with "
I stared at him for a moment confused before replying.
" oh nothing, I only needed you to turn down the music "
He shrugged his shoulders and walked away.
I sat on my bench one again and opened my book, I made myself comfortable on the bench, which isn't very easy, and opened my book.
I quickly shut the book and looked in the direction of the dance group.
I thought I told them to turn the music down, but looks like as soon as I left the dude turned it back up, what is wrong with this one.
I stood up ' again' and walked to were they where dancing.
" excuse me, I am trying to read turn down the music " I shouted at them, the same guy came walking to me.
" can I help you "
" yes you can, turn the music down and keep it that way until you see me leaving " I said, annoyed at the situation.
" but that's what we are using to dance "he said.
Is this guy mad in complexion or what.
" look, if you don't want to hear the music then just leave " said a girl walking towards us twisting her blonde hair with her fingers.
" look all I asked is for you to turn down the music, not of it completely " I tried to calm myself down by taking deep breaths.
" but then it wouldn't be loud enough for us do dance to "the guy said.
" then you would carry it and go away " I said, see these people don't use their common sense.
" and why don't you just leave " said the girl from beside him.
" wait wait wait wait, who added your mouth " I said scrunching up my face in disgust as I turned to face the girl.
" um, sorry is that even English " she said twirling her hair in her fingers, using her palm to carry her elbow.
" no, it is French " I retorted.
She just rolled her eyes and sighed, turning around to go.
In her mind now she has made sense.
" so are you going " she asked.
I looked at him in disbelief, wait is this guy serious.
I shook my head and turned around, in fact I will just go home and sleep, I don't have time for this.
