Chapter 14
I stared out the window thinking of what to do.
Detention is so boring, as if it is Nigerian now, the teacher would just tell you to rewrite the test another day, but over here any small thing detention, I don't even think they do this detention thing in Nigeria.
I already wrote my test only because the teacher was nice enough to allow me, but I'm in detention and I can't use my phone or sleep, like what am I supposed to do.
I turned my head from the window and looked at the other people in detention, a fat boy with blonde hair and a pair of blue glasses sat in front of the class playing with a pencil, behind him was a girl using his body to shield herself from the sight of the teacher because she was using her phone, then at the far corner if the class was a group of guys talking amongst them selves and then there was me sitting at the back of the class on the seat closest to the window.
I looked at my watch for the thousandth time, the time is 3:42, just a few minutes until detention is over, school ends by 3 o'clock and detention is one hour, why would you make people sit in a class doing nothing foe like one hour.
Aside from all this, once detention is over I have to walk home because Bianca is most likely not in school so she can't drive me home and obviously I've missed the bus.
I can't wait for this to be over.
" hi " someone whispered from beside me, loud enough for me to hear but low enough to not catch the teacher's attention.
I looked the boy, who appeared to be one of those guys at the corner of the class.
" what " I said in a bored tone, right now I am not willing to interact with anyone.
" um, hi " I turned to face the guy, and looked at him with a confused look on my face, is it me or this guy said hi before.
" I heard you the first time "
He looked at me without replying, something is wrong with this guy, he looked like he was in deep thought as he stared at me.
Okay so this is very awkward, I looked away from him but I could feel his eye balls piercing into my soul.
Awkward.
" okay time's up you kids can go " the lady said from in front of the class.
I didn't wait a second to jump out of my seat, that boy is too awkward, I pray we never meet again.
I walked out the class and smiled, free at last.
Walking down the corridor to see of Bianca was in school, which I highly doubt, I saw Andrew just strolling down, so I decides, why don't I just ask him if he has seen Bianca.
I walked up to him but he kept walling without sparing me a glance, I tilted my head to the side a little as a look of confusion jumped on my face.
That's weird I was sure he saw me. I ran to meet him once again, but he just increased the speed of his footsteps, I ran further and grabbed his hand spinning him around to face me.
" Andrew " I said in between heavy breathes.
" oh, hi Saph didn't see you there " he said rubbing the back of his neck and looking around as if to check if any one was watching.
I looked up at him, how can he tell me that not me, or is he blind now.
" I just wanted to- "
" Andrew "
Our heads turned to a furious Reesha, storming down the corridor, with her hand rolled into a fist.
" Andrew what are you doing with this... " she looked me up and down before completing her sentence " Bitch "
