Nicole's Pov
Next day
My heart felt as if it broke all over again. It shouldn't I mean of course he was going to get a girlfriend and forget about me. I'm easy to forget I guess.
My thoughts were interrupted by my phone ringing. I looked at the caller id it read Nash. I ignored his calls several times because I didn't have the strength to answer them.
I finally just answered it but I was trying to get my self together since I was crying.
"Hello? Nicole why haven't you been answering me?"
I began crying again.
"Are you okay I'm coming over"
I hung up and sat on my bed dreading his arrival .
After waiting 10 minutes I heard a familiar knock on the door. I got up and walked to the door.
I opened the door while looking at my feet. A familiar pair of hands lifted my chin up. My eyes were still filled with tears. I didn't want him to see me like this.
"Nash I'm fine you can go."
"No your not okay I can tell. What's wrong?"
"I can't tell you, you won't understand"
"Nicole I will understand I know you."
" No I'm sorry I think you should leave I'm sorry Nash"
"Nicole why are you pushing me away?! I'm here for you"
"I still fucking love you and you don't feel the same Nash that's why I'm pushing you away"
"It's been four years and now your telling me you love me. I have a girlfriend Nicole"
"Obviously I know that, time doesn't always change how you feel about a person. I'm so stupid for telling you this."
"I don't feel the same anymore Nicole I'm sorry."
I walked to my kitchen and picked up the note that he left.( yes she kept it)
"I want you to read this Nash out loud"
He read it and then looked at me.
"What happened to forever Nash?"
"I'm sorry..."
"Get out of my apartment! You can shove your sorry up your ass!"
He looked hurt by that and before he left he turn towards me and said...
"I'm sorry for hurting you"
And with those words my heart shattered and I was completely broken once again.
Maybe we just weren't meant to be...
