Broken (Nash Grier and Cameron Dallas)

Chapter 27

Nicole's Pov

I've been out of the hospital for about two weeks now. Nash has seemed very distant. I guess he doesn't want to work on whatever we were. Part of me was glad because that would mean no more being sad and heartbroken, but the other part wanted him to fight for me.

He gave up the fight for the thing he wanted most...me.(a/n I'm sorry I just had major feels writing that). He hasn't called or came to see my crippled self. I broke my leg and my arm. But, cameron comes over everyday. I can depend on him for everything.

Lately me and Matt(espinosa) have been talking a lot. Him and his girlfriend broke up a while ago. we've been texting and face timing, and I think I might have feelings for him. He's actually coming to visit today.

Im really excited, but, I feel like I should wait for Nash. But, I know if he hasn't tried yet he won't ever.

Matt arrives*

I hear the door bell ring and and I make my way slowly to the door. I open the door to see the very cute Matthew Espinosa. I practically jump on him, and he accepts the hug.

"Hey babe, how you feeling?"

Him calling me babe practically made me melt in his arms.

"I could be better, but now that you're here I am definitely feeling better."

"I'm glad babe"

"Here follow me to your room."

He grabbed his suitcase and followed me.

Thank God the guest bedroom is on the first floor.

He put his bag down and walked to the kitchen.

"I see you just make your self at home" I joke as he's looking through the fridge and cabinets.

"A boy has to eat" as he closed the fridge, he turns towards me. Our faces our inches apart.

"Your so beautiful" he says looking at my eyes then my lips.

"Kiss me" he complies and his lips meet mine.

Fireworks and sparks everywhere. Our lips moved in sync. I pulled away when I heard a gasp. I turned around to see Nash holding flowers with tears streaming down his face. He drops the flowers and storms out I try to go after him,but, I couldn't catch him. Everything started spinning.

I started to panic and cry. The room started spinning and I couldn't hear anything. I collapsed and fell to the ground. What felt like a deep sleep consumed me.

Next thing I knew I woke up in a hospital bed. Matt, Cameron, and my mom were next to me.

"Where's Nash?" I started to panic not remembering what had happened.

The room started to spin and I blacked out.

I woke up in the same hospital bed.

" Where is he, I need him!"

"Nicole he won't come" cameron said.

"Please tell him I need him here."

20 minutes later*

That beautiful blue eyed boy walked into the room.

"Why do you want me here?"

"I don't really know I just need you to keep me calm ,please." I grabbed his hand but he moved it away. Well that hurt.

The doctor came in and said,

"Well now that your all here I have some bad news. Nicole has a very bad heart and needs a transplant. We have put her on the waiting list. Not to be morbid, but, she will only have a matter of months to live, if she doesn't get a transplant. You are near the top of the list, so don't worry."

I'm only 17 I can't die, I started to panic again, when I felt a hand grab mine. Nash. I calmed down by his simple gesture. He had tears streaming down his face, but, he tried to hide them. He hates people seeing him cry. I grabbed his face and turned it towards me. I wiped his tears.

"I can make it through this, they will find a donor it's okay"

He nodded, but I knew he wasn't okay.

I'm not okay...
