Chapter 41

Wedding Day*

Nicole's Pov

Today was the day I was finally becoming mrs. Grier. I'm marrying my best friend and the man I love. I slipped on my white lace mermaid style dress. It hugs my curves and makes my body look amazing.

I looked at myself in the full length mirror and I felt beautiful. My mom walked beside me.

"You look so beautiful honey. Your dad would be so proud of you."

"I know. I just wish he was here to walk me down the aisle."

"I know honey. But it's time baby girl. I love you so much" She flipped the veil and put it over my face.

I walked out to the doors that separated me from my future husband and my guests. Chad (Nash's dad) walked over and held out his arm. Chad is walking me down the aisle because he is like a dad to me. I grabbed his arm and the doors were opened.

My eyes immediately went to Nash. He was wearing a tuxedo and he looked handsome. Tears immediately formed in my eyes. But they were tears of joy.

I walked up to the alter and stood across from Nash.

Skip to the vows*

I was first to say my vows.

"Nash. When we first met we didn't really get along. In fact you bullied me but that all changed one day. You weren't my bully anymore but you were my hero. I remember the day you first told me you loved me like it was yesterday. We've been through a lot but no ones relationship is perfect. I can honestly say I couldn't picture spending my life with anyone but you. I am completely in love with you and I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together. I love you so much"

I was crying at this point and I was trying to hold it together.

"Nicole. I don't even know where to begin. I was so nervous to tell you I loved you for the first time. But I'm glad I did because we wouldn't be here right now. You say I'm your hero but you're mine. You've made me a better person. I never imagined I would be marrying such a beautiful woman who makes my life complete. I can't wait to see what the future holds for us. But as long as it's with you I'll be happy no matter what. I love you so much."

Nash was crying but he was trying to hide it. I took my thumb and wiped his tears away. He smiled at me.

The priest began to say...

"Nash you may kiss your beautiful bride."

He grabbed my veil and lifted it up exposing my face. He grabbed my face and kissed me. I immediately kissed back. It was a short and sweet kiss.

"I know pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. Grier"

He grabbed my hand and we walked down the aisle.

We spent the rest of the night dancing and celebrating our marriage. We couldn't be happier. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with the man I love.
