Taming 40

Three months. Three months of finding her in Encantasia but there's still no lead of her. They're losing their hope. But I remained silent, praying and hoping that I'll find her so soon cause I missed her.

Warriors are not in peace. We never stay in one room cause one of us will explode. I was being blamed. I didn't even deny it. Cause I was guilty.

I stared at my reflection at the mirror. This is not the Ashton Blade I used to know.

I let out a sigh as I walked towards my bed. Grab my phone but I stopped but it vibrates.

Sinagot ko ang tawag.

“ Fuck! Come here. We have a lead. ”

Nanginig ako ng marinig ko ang boses ni Storm. Mabilis akong nagteleport sa Enchanted and not even minding  I am only wearing a boxer and a T-shirt. What a shame.

Nadatnan ko si Tito Aziel na seryoso ang mukha pati naa ang iba habang mariing nakatingin sa mapang nakalatag sa malapad na mesa.

“ Come here. ” Tito ordered in an icy voice. I obliged. I deserve his cold treatment.

“ One of our mens, reported that they saw my daughter at Spain. But now, she's nowhere to be found. ”

I gaped of what I've just heard. Spain? Then, suddenly I remembered something.

“ You wanna see my library? ”

I smiled when I saw her excited reaction. Maingat na iginayak ko siya sa library ko kung saan nakadisplay ang napalaking mapa sa buong mortal world.

I want to treasure this moment. Her, with me.

Kaagad na dinaluhan niya ang map at iginala ang tingin habang pinaglandas ang daliri hanggang sa huminto ito sa isang bansa.

“ I want to be in this country. ”

I smiled widely at agad na naglakad patungo sa likod niya at yinapos siya. Kaagad na yumakap ang mga kamay niya sa braso kong nakahawak sa baywang niya.

“ In spain? Why? ”

She shrugged her shoulders. “ I dunno. If I'll given a chance this is the first country that I should probably go and next Philippines. ”

Hindi ako kaagad na nagsalita at ibinaon ang mukha sa leeg niya. I slightly closed my eyes when I smelled her scent. So addicting.

“ With me? ”  I asked hopefully.

A smile slowly crept to my lips when she nodded. “ Yeah. With you. ”

I blinked. Couple of times.

“ I think I'd know where she is. ” I suddenly murmured.

Matalim ang mga matang tiningnan ako ni Tito Aziel. “ Where? ”

Hinanap ko ang pilipinas sa mapa at tinuro. “ Here, in Philippines. ”

“ How are you so certain na andiyan nga siya? Encantasia is slowly falling King Blade. We need to find her as soon as possible. We already wasted three months of finding her in Encantasia. ” malalim na saad ni Tito Aziel.

Tumango ako. “ I'd know. ”

“ What should I do to you of she's not there? ” he asked full of authority that everybody could die for.

I looked at him. Fearless.

“ Kill me. If you think Philippines is such a waste of time. Then kill me. ”
