DARK JACOB
"Kuya! Naiihi ako!"
My brows met each other as I glance at my twin. I sighed and showed her a poker face. "E' di umihi ka."
"Ang sama mo!" she pouted. "Dali na, samahan mo 'ko! Katakot oh!"
She even held my other arm so I glared at her. "Ang ingay mo, Jill. Nakakahiya sa namatayan."
We're currently at the funeral of my parent's business partner. I don't even know why are we needed in this kind of situation, I don't even know them.
I sighed and looked at my sister again. She's now pleasing me to accompany her. I held her hand and pulled her somewhere.
That's the surname I heard a while ago.
I guided Jillian when I saw the comfort room sign. I looked around the pool area in front of me.
Police are all over the place. The area was surrounded with caution signs too. I sighed and let my curiosity derive my own thoughts.
I heard the investigation.
I shook my head with my own thoughts. At the young age, I could be a lawyer or something. But I know that I'm still lacking of knowledge. I'm just 9 year old by yet I can't help but to get curious with lots of things.
Or maybe I wasn't really going outside our mansion kaya interesado ako sa mga kwento ng ibang bahay. I heavily sighed as I saw the visitors comforting the family of the victim.
"Matagal ka pa ba?" I asked with a hint of irritation.
My jaw partly dropped when I hear Jillian's reason. I glared at the CR's door.
I crossed my arms on my chest and leaned on the wall. I closed my eyes to relax myself but another weird sound happen.
I stared at her from a distance. She's crying hard. She's wearing a white dress that is now getting dirty because she's sitting on the grass.
"Mommy...." I heard her say and wiped her tears. "I l-love you, Mommy... I'm sorry..."
Huh? Why is she saying even sorry?
Normally, I wouldn't care about anyone crying because when I'm the one who's tearing up, wala namang umaalo sa 'kin.
I didn't know what came up to me to grow interest on this child in front of me. She's wearing glass that's why I can't determine her eyes' shape. Her hair's on pig tails that's why I tried my best to hide my smile.
She looks cute on that part, though.
I got back to my emotionless face when she glanced at me. I can see that she's shock because of my presence and yet she still didn't care. In fact, she even cried more.
I sighed looked at my wrist watch.
