"Ako nga pala si Cassidy Aiyana Enriquez."

Cassidy introduced herself. She offered her hand but I didn't know what to react. Ni hindi ko magawang makipag-kamay sa kanya. The scenery is still so fresh.

I remember, Tita Stella was once our maid way back. Mom trusted her so much but my respect for her was blown by the wind the moment I knew that she was cheating with my father.

I didn't do anything that time. Hindi ko naman kasalanan na hindi naging ma-ingat si Tita Stella sa pagbaba ng hagdan. And now they have Melissa.

"And this is Adrian, my boyfriend," she added.

I can't deny the fact that she's good looking but base on the social status, alam kong hindi siya gano'n kagara kung titingnan.

I sighed and faked a smile before getting her hand. "I'm Cassandra Levister, First born of the Levisters." I tried my best to sound okay but I knew I was not.

I felt Dark squeezing my hand so I glanced at his direction. "And this is Dark, my—"

"Her fiancé," sabat ni Tita Stella.

"Oh," Cassidy nodded and met my eyes again. "Congrats, then,"

"Bagay kayong dalawa!"  sabi pa ni Adrian, inaasar na naman ako. "Diba, bebe?" napasulyap pa siya kay Cassidy na nakatingin na ngayon kay Dark.

"Thanks," I awkwardly smiled. "So, uh, I think we should settle now? the party's about to start."

"Yes, Iha! Sa isang lamesa nalang kayo maupo apat para naman makilala mo itong pamangkin ko." Tita Stella then held her niece's shoulder. "Arkitekto rin ang kurso niya sa UST, matalino, hindi ba?"

Wow. What a sarcastic way to introduce her, huh?

Hindi ako nagpatalo. I stood up straight and gave her a genuine smile. "Yeah, matalino po talaga 'yung mga taga-UST," I agreed sarcastically.

"Sabi sayo e'! Magaling itong pamangkin ko," I let out a short laugh and raised my brow.

"But the last time I checked, Tita. I beat the number one student of UST in architecture." I smiled widely.

Napapahiyang umawang ang labi ni Tita Stella. Napalunok naman si Cassidy, nahihiya na rin. "Ah, hehe, totoo po ang sinasabi niya Tita. Natalo nga po niya 'yung nangunguna sa klase namin..."

Dark warned me by simply holding my hand tight but I didn't care. Masyadong mayabang ang isang 'to para palampasin ko.
