POW POW POW! I woke up breathing heavily out of my sleep wiping the sweat off of my forehead. I swear these dreams were never ending. I looked over at the clock and it was 9am, I had planned on sleeping later but I might as well get up and get this day started with at this point. I walked in the bathroom and stared in the mirror at myself, I missed the girl I once was. The brave , energetic, carefree individual. Playing with my poofy curly hair, I pictured the happy little 5 year old Laila who wanted to be just like Beyonce when she grew up. The smile that appeared on my face slowly faded as I returned to reality. I did my hygeine and took a hot shower. Today was just a normal day for me. I put on a fitted Bebe tank top, some ripped jeans I made and slid on my shades with a a pair of fur slides to add to the mess of outfit I threw together leaving my curly hair boucing away in the wind.
10 minutes later...
I pulled up to the warehouse on 50th street and entered through the backdoor. "Magic"! I yelled practically stomping through the threshold of hell. "Im here". Walking into this place every day made me sick to my stomach. "Hey my princess" , Magic said in his gross seductive tone as he grabbed me by my waiste and smashed his lips into mine. I hated that "Princess" stuff and I hated this old nasty bastard of a man. I could taste the brown liquor on his tongue as he dug his tongue into my mouth. My stomach turned at the feeling. Magic "Stop! " I tried yelling. He restrained both of my arms, unbuckled his pants and I just went with the flow. Nothing I hadn't felt before....
