A fresh new day begins. The sun is out, shining its beams of light through my room's window. The faint sound of birds chirping fall into my ears, along with the hustle-bustle going on downstairs. I'm guessing the members are having breakfast now?

My stomach immediately growls. Ah, I know you're hungry but I'm too sleepy to get my ass downstairs...

"LYDIA!" a female voice screams from downstairs. And my mother supports my stomach...

I lazily get up and make my way downstairs to the dining room, and BOY, it was a sight. One team getting up from their seats after finishing their breakfast and heading outside, another team still gobbling up their food; Mason and Mom were running around frantically in the dining hall, serving Deborah's dishes and taking the dirty ones back into the kitchen. Breakfast with a criminal gang is like a busy fast-food restaurant.

"Oh, Lydia! You're finally up! And so are you, Eliza!" cried my mom as she glanced in my direction. I turned around to find a yawning Eliza sleepily walking over to me. "Mornin' Miss Lydia, looks like you and I missed the first batch of breakfast." she commented while rubbing her eyes.

"Seems like it, let me guess, you drank till you passed out?" I asked.

"Would you look at that; you already know me!" Eliza cried enthusiastically.

"Miss Lydia, Miss Zombie; breakfast is served." said Mason as he placed two plates of omelette and toasted bread on the table.

"Thanks Mason!" I said genuinely with a smile, and Mason smiled back.

"Yeah, thanks a lot asshole!" said Eliza with a wide smile. Mason rolled his eyes and walked back into the kitchen.

"Now Eliza, what did I say about calling Mason 'asshole'?" My dad spoke from the way end of the table.

"That I shouldn't keep calling him 'asshole' as if that was his name?" Eliza said with a guessing tone.

"...That is correct. Hang on, when have I ever said that?"

"That's because you haven't, Honey. You didn't even know till I told you. I was the one who told off Eliza about the name-calling." said my mom as she flipped an omelette on my dad's plate and left. To say that my dad was embarrassed, clearly, was an understatement.

Me and Eliza stared at each other and burst into giggles. My dad started to eat up his omelette at a high speed, probably so that he could leave the table already. I felt genuinely happy, to be able to see the embarrassed side of my dad. I felt like, this could be my chance to finally develop a bond with my dad.

My thoughts were interrupted when I noticed Mason sitting in front of me, staring at my food and me. Was he hungry or something? He couldn't seem to take his eyes off my food.

"Uh, Mason? Do you want a bite or something?" I asked.

"No, I had my breakfast with Deborah and Mother." he replied still staring at my food.

"Then, why the heck are you staring at her and her food?" asked Eliza with her mouth stuffed.

"I'm waiting for her to finish her breakfast so that I can ask her questions regarding yesterday's lesson."

I want to throw my plate at his face. RIGHT NOW.

An Hour Later:

"What does the number 1073 mean?"

"Location of Golden Lords' Mansion."

"Why do we use it?"

"To contact Home in case of an emergency or casualty during mission or police involvment."
