Chapter 13

I fell asleep after some time. The taxi drive was for 4 hours and I could not stay up that late. I woke up when we were just arriving. I gawked. This place was amazing!

We drove up to a huge lawn with orange poppies growing here and there. I got and my luggage was sent up.  I went to the group of girls. They all greeted me like long lost friends. In no time, we were chatting it out.

It out there were 20 people who signed up for this project. 10 girls and 10 boys. I didn't need to ask why they set this up, I knew very well.

The kids we were supposed to be adopting were coming in from all over. There was no more room in the adoption centers, so we had to take care of all the kids for 3 months so they could find place for them in that time.

Finally, the time came to be partnered up. We went for a 30 mins walk to be ending up in a beautiful street. There were gorgeous white houses. At the end was a huge gray building labelled "HALL"

In mins, we gathered in the hall. We were introduced to Miss. Grayling, the coordinator. She then got us prepared for our partners.

"Emma ~Jackson! Camille~Marty! Amy~Paul! Mackenzie~Mark! Janica~Scott! Yvette~Carter! Ella~Mike! Kathy~Horgan! Lidia~Liam! Georgia~ Collen!" Grayling called out. I gaped. I gawked.

Maybe...it's another Mark? I thought. Every one began to shuffle towards their partners. I looked around. And to my annoyance I saw that I was paired with the DEVIL BOY!! Yes!! MARK MATT!!!

I HAVE TO BE THE TEMPORARY WIFE OF MY WORST ENEMY!?!?!
