~Mackenzie~

I laughed and screamed with the flow as we took of on the rollercoaster, slowly, slowly speeding up. Izzy and Kev were sitting on the teacups with the babysitter we had hired. I grabbed Mark's hand and shivered when we reached the top.

The last 30 mins of my life had turned completely upside down.

*flash back*

Mark had asked me to be his girlfriend and I had agreed in a heartbeat. Then he stopped the car midway infront of a broken old house which looked haunted.

"I would have dropped you off here if you didn't" he had a glint in his eye. I laughed nervously. "Ha.ha..okay...so now can we go, you'll scare the kids."

"No. We can't go" he laughed.

Suddenly, the door of the house burst open, and a stiff zombie bride came walking out. I screamed, startling the kids, who began to cry when they saw the zombie bride. Mark just kept on laughing and laughing. I kept looking to him and the zombie. Mark, zombie, Mark, zombie.

It turned out that the 'zombie' was just Mark's step sister. She was pretty, decent sized black hair with big brown orbs. She smiled at me, and Mark too. "Hey, I'm Sandra, the one and only. And damn, Mark, you didn't tell me she was that good looking." I smiled at her nice ness, even though I was scared shitless.

"I'm Mackenzie, thanks so much. Your really pretty too. Mark didn't say anything about him having a sister" I say.

"Of course he didn't. He's like that. Besides, he want to give you a scare. So, who are these cuties?" she pointed to Izzy, who still looked scared, and then Kev, who was now chattering like an idiot.

"That Izzabell, Izzy for short, and Kevin, Kevy." I say. "They're adorable. And you two are, too. Are you a couple?" God. "Yeah"

*present*

Sandra smiled at us and waved. We waved to all them back, but suddenly, the roller coaster dropped, and so did my stomach. I screeched and clung on for dear life.

3 hours and 42 rides later, I was tired, cold and hungry. "Thanks Sandie, but we'll manage from here" said Mark. "Don't call me that. Okay, cya around Kenz! And you to, brother from another mother" Sandra laughed and left.

"Let's go to the bonfire, Markie, I'm so dead." I say. "Okay, fine Kenna, c'mon. I think we all could do with some barbecued sausages." he smiles.

"Hell yeah! Let's get the heck outta here" I punchc his arm, and we're off. We laughed and talked all the way.

At the bonfire, we sat on logs, holding marshmallows on sticks and laughing heartily. We also had potato and sausages, and candy too.

I leaned into Mark, happy but so tired. He smiled and pressed a kiss onto my forehead. Izzy and Kevin were busy making a mess with their toasted marshmallows.

After telling scary stories, laughing, screaming, nearly peeing our pants, we decided to get home. We were tired, our feet hurt, we smelt like smoke, but we could not have been happier.

We clambered into our car, and Izzy and Kev fell asleep immediately. I talked to Mark about nothing in particular and hummed to songs.

Soon, to find out that I was dozing off into a deep slumber....
