Chapter 33

~Mackenzie~

I sat there, my face fixed in horror.

"So, Izzabell has a severe case of salmonellosis, and she is extremely sick. If you do not attend to her diet, there will be some...mishaps." Dr. Jr says.

"What kind of....mishaps?" I gulp. "She can pass on" I gasp. "Oh...oh..ohkay" I try to smile but can't.

Izzabell is handed to us the next morning. I took care of her diet the most carefully, and in no time, Izzy was rapidly healing. I had been SO terrified, thinking that if Izzy had died, Mark and I would have been kicked out of the Baby Project. We would lose everything.

Today was 19th August, Izzy had gotten sick on 4th of August.
Now that she was all better, it was time to get ready for the "Family Surprise Trip".

I ran to my closet and picked out washed denim skinnes with a one shoulder-less pink shirt that had 'love' on it. With that, I picked a pair of Galaxy Sneakers, a galaxy backpack, a galaxy iPhone case, light pink lipstick, sparkly blue nail polish and a heart shaped necklace that had 'internet' on it.

I walked over to Izzy's nursery room and rummaged through her closet. I finally found a frilly pink frock that had blue ribbons on the sleeve. With it I matched pink pumps with blue bows on them, a blue bow for her hair, a cute pink bracelet and a pink polka dotted backpack. I laughed at the adorable outfit and crept into Kevin's nice and cold room.

There, I found him a blue checkered t-shirt, blue denim jeans, and sneakers. I also pulled out a Nike backpack for him, and a fake watch.

Then I showered, applied my nail polish, slid into my outfit, fitted in my phone into its case, and got Izzy ready.

Then Kevin.

Then Mark.

Soon, we were all sitting in his car.

"So, Mar-" I started, but was so rudely cut off.

"Mackenzie, I...Want to...Ask you something" he sighed.

"No, Mark, No. I will NOT answer ANY question, until you tell me WHERE ARE WE GOING" I whined.

"Fine. We're going to the amusement park, then we're going to attend a...bonfire!" Mark said.

"What? Really? That's so cooooooool! I love BonFirEs! And rollercoasters with loops in them." I laugh.

"Aren't I a good guesser?" Laughs Mark with me.

"Oh, sure you are" I teased.

"Okay. I'm going to ask you now" Mark went all serious.

"Got it." I pulled my attention to him.

"Will you be my fixed date?"

"Huh?" I was confused. "What's that??" I asked.

"Would you...no will you be my...girl friend?"
