Chapter 31

How is it that after every fight, every shout, every flinch, every...thing about saying to break away.....

How is it that Mark and I always become fast friends again? I have no idea.

As I got ready for my special day/date, I thought how Mark apologized to me and told me that the store had pissed him off. He was still a bit grumpy at Izzy's mishap about having fever, but I promised him that I would take her to the hospital tomorrow.

I shower, and pull on my clothes. I put on my makeup, not to heavy, not to light, then straighten my hair.

I looked nice. I grinned at myself, blew a kiss at the mirror and plugged in my headphones.

I begun to listen to Oh Cecillia by The Vamps.

Mark and I left the babysitter in charge.

"So, where are we headed?" I ask, curiously. "Its a surprise, Kenna" he grins. "KENNA? Who the hell is that?" I ask. "You" he grins again. "Yargh....thats a horrible nick name! My enemy's called Kenna!" I say, rubbing my hands. "Ok. Then I'll DEFINITELY call you Kenna, Kenna" he laughs. "Hmmm...ok, fine, but I will find a better-no worse nick name for YOU and call you that" I retort.

The rest of the car ride we talk about random things throughout and laugh all the way.

Then we arrived at the movie theater.
"Oh, we're watching a movie?" I ask, surprised. "Yup" he says, popping the 'p'.

We slip out of the car and I look curiously around to find what movie we are watching but no catch.

I slid my arm in Mark's and smiled. "What're we watching, Markiepoo?" I ask. He looks irritated. "Don't call me that" he pulls me.

After ordering buttered and caramel popcorn, nacho's with cheese and the mixed fruit slush, we headed to our theatre.

"We're watching 'Ghoulish Love' by Kristi Perrseline" Says Mark.

"Nice, I wanted to watch that movie for EVER" I put extra emotion on 'EVER'.

"Mhm"

We watched it. It was about a boy and girl who loved each other but the girls mother hates the boy, so she kills him. After killing him, the girl is devastated. After a while, she realizes strange things happening around her. Turns out it was the boy's ghost. They once again became a couple, a ghost and a girl. The mother finds out about the ghost and decides to get rid of it. But while trying to do so, she is caught by the girl who reports her for murder. The mother is arrested and the girl and ghost live happily ever after.

I cried, laughed, sweared angrily, gasped excitedly and had the time of my life. Then we went to the Resturant and had dinner. It was amazing, and I kept thanking Mark OVER and OVER.

When we got home, both the kids were asleep, like usual. I went, showered, put on pyjama pants and a tank top.

Then fell fast asleep.....dreaming...about me and Mark......"Mark and I, Kenna" laughed Mark. "Oh, grammar my ass" I snap.

Mark just smiled.
