Higuchi Captured

I heard Watari shoot once more and it knocked the gun out of Higuchi's hand. I held onto my motorcycle and stood up. I held my right side as I watched the situation. The wind around us got violent as Lawliet landed his helicopter. 

   ' Good thing I'm wearing black and no one can see the blood bleeding through, but damn this hurts. '

Mr. Yagami and Mogi were getting out so they could approach the car and apprehend Higuchi. 

   " Mr. Yagami I need to come with you. "

   " Y/n Mogi is walking with Mr. Yagami he will be fine. I don't want you near that car. "

   " Ryuzaki you're going to have to trust me. I don't want to go near Higuchi but I need to. Something is about to happen and I need to be there when it does. "

   " Y/n..."

   " Ryuzaki, let me go. "

   " Fine. Make sure he doesn't see your face. "

   " Even if he sees my face he won't be able to tell what my name is. "

   " What? "

I walked towards Higuchi's car with my motorcycle helmet on. I met up with Mr. Yagami and Mogi at the car. The police were behind us pointing guns at the car. I waited for him to get out. He did and he raised his hands in the air. We got closer and I handed Mogi my gun.

   " I don't need this. "

He understood and took it from me. When I pulled my hand back I felt a force take off my helmet. My face was revealed but I was wearing my mask.

   ' He still won't know my name. '

   " Y/n! "

   " Y/n, hide your face! " I heard the boys scream.

   " Please, I'll be fine. He can't see my face so he won't know my name. "

His eyes scanned the top of my head but he looked so confused. They cuffed him and tied a cloth around his eyes.

   " Wait, why can't I see the girl's name? "

   " Because I'm special, Higuchi. You won't ever know my name. Ryuzaki, I will wait for you to get his confession before getting the item. "

   " I understand. "

I waited a few more moments and I watched as Watari took aim at Higuchi. 

   " The notebook. You probably won't believe me but I got a special notebook that if I write someone's name in it while thinking of their face that person dies. "

   " Y/n find the notebook. "

   " On it. "

I grabbed his bag and grabbed the Death Note. When I held it the memories I had when Light first had it returned. I saw Rem to the side of me and she was starring at me. 

   " Y/n let me see that for a moment. "

I handed him the notebook when he looked up he screamed and fell to the floor. Mogi went to tend to Mr. Yagami and he touched the notebook too and he had the same reaction. 

   " This is why I should have handled the notebook. " I said out loud. 

I took the notebook and looked up at Rem who was standing close to me.

   " Hello, Rem. It's nice to see you again. "

   " It is nice to meet you once more human. "
