It's been a few days and Keanu and I have gotten a lot closer. It's scary actually, how close we've gotten.
You know what else is scary? How clingy girls are to guys that don't even give them the time of day. Let me explain.
This morning after breakfast I went to see if Keanu had texted me. He's been texting me in the morning before I wake up and while I'm eating breakfast and by the time I check my phone he's already started talking and hanging out with his family. We usually don't start our conversations until around 6 or 7 PM. Anyway, that's not important.
Today, when I went to see if Keanu had texted me I noticed that several people had added me on snapchat. And by several I mean that the little person on the top right of my screen said 30. 30 people added me last night. I was so confused until I saw it.
Keanu posted on his snap for the first time in a while. He isn't the type to post that often, so when he does I would assume everyone on his snap got really excited. Especially the females. Except this time was different. This time... he posted me.
Well, not a picture of me, but a screenshot of how long we were on call last night. I assume he knew that girls would go absolutely nuts seeing "babygirl", so to try and make sure no one hunts me down and murders me, he changed my name to "Cara😉". Like that would change anything. They could read between the lines that weren't even there.
Before doing anything I turned off my location, Bitches do be bonkers, then I accepted all of them without really checking the names. Before I even got the chance to breathe I was already getting multiple text messages. And no it wasn't multiple people asking me how I know Keanu or why we were on call for so long, it was one girl.
Lacy McCoy. Aka the girl in Lace or Lacey Lacy or Lacy with the Lace, the point is, she's known for hooking up with guys, hence the play on words with lace. She's your run of the mill cliche white mean girl. I didn't even realize she was one of the girls that I'd added. She's always had her eye on Keanu. I heard about it from Lucy and a few other girls I used to talk to.
Lacy always likes to have proof of the guys she's had sex with so that no one could claim she was lying. She would take something of his or even take pictures... anyway, she would always find a way to show proof of what she did. I'm assuming that when Keanu refused her she didn't understand why, but didn't go telling people they had sex because she didn't have proof. She's been after him for the longest and now I'm assuming she sees me as a threat. This should be fun.
When I went into the chat and she saw my little bitmoji she started typing again.

It means you're blocked biotch. Of course I didn't say that, but anyway, now it's 11 and I just finished telling Keanu the whole story. He texted her and she's going batshit crazy. And for what? Sometimes I don't understand females.
"She- she's- she's yelling at me for denying her sex proposal."
Kean and I have been laughing for a little while at the dumb stuff Lacy told him when he confronted her about what happened earlier. I knew she was dense but jeez!
All of a sudden he stopped laughing and the air got really tense, even though it was a call.
"What an ignorant piece of shit."
"What happened?"
"She said, 'I don't even know why they got so mad at us for enslaving the blacks. I mean, it's not like we treated them poorly. They were alive weren't they?'"
"Wow I don't think I've ever been more offended in my entire life. And I'm not even fully black."
"Fully black or not that shit's rude as fuck. I'm gonna screenshot this and post it. The amount of hate she'll get for this will be... well let's just say it'll be a lot. And I don't even feel a little bit guilty."
"I don't either. Maybe then she'll see the error of her ways."
"I blocked her too. Fuck her man."
I can't even believe her. I can't even believe that people still think like that. It's honestly quite surreal to me that people could still sit there and say something so awful about someone who is the same as you. Just because of their skin tone?
Keanu brought me out of my thoughts by asking me a question.
"Hey Cara, is it my turn to think of a topic?"
"I honestly can't remember. But if you have a topic, go ahead."
"Does stuff like that happen to you very often? Like, people saying racist stuff like it's the most casual thing in the world."
"Not super often. There are people who I can tell are racist by the way they look at me. But for the most part no one just comes up to me and says that type of stuff to my face."
"But you have a story of another time it did happen, right?"
"How did you even know?"
"I don't know, the tone of your voice. You sounded like you were remembering something."
"Yeah... I guess I was."
