Cara POV

It was a red ring-pop ring, my favorite. It was the cutest thing, but I couldn't hold in my laughter.

"Do I have chocolate on my nose?" He asked beaming up at me from his one knee pose in the middle of the hallway.

"No, you have a ring-pop on your finger." He shook his head, laughing along with me and got up.

"So are you gonna answer my question or keep laughing?"

"Right right," I took the ring-pop from him and put it on, then I put it in my mouth to taste it.

"Mmm... yeah I guess you deserve the honor of being my boyfriend for this."

"Oh and wasn't there a kiss promised in one of the notes?" I asked him. I turned around and picked up the note with the poem. "Ahh yes it says here, 'I promise it's not a myth, if you follow these steps you will get a kiss' and... I'm pretty sure I followed all the steps."

"You're right. You deserve a reward."

He walked up to me, put his hands on my waist and next thing I knew his lips were on mine. I wrapped my arms around the back of his neck and ran my fingers through his hair. Our mouths moved in sync in a way that Calum and I's never did. Calum was rough, Kean wasn't, everything was perfectly perfect with Kean. It was amazing.

After a minute or so he pulled away and said, "You taste like a mixture of chocolate, red ring-pop and... maple syrup?"

He and I started laughing so loud I'm pretty sure people on the other side of the school could hear us. "My mom made me french toast this morning!"

"It's okay, I liked it. It was a nice taste."

"I think that makes it worse for me."

He shrugged his shoulders, still smiling at me. 

I picked up the basket with all my stuff and he took my free hand.

When we got to the parking lot all our friends were waiting by my car. They couldn't see us yet since they were facing away from us.

"They're taking a long time..." Lucy said with a nervous voice.

"Yeah... what if they're arguing or something?" Lani added.

"Trust me guys, they're probably making out in a broom closet or something." Cruz reassured them.

"Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if they texted us asking me and Cruz to take you guys home." Ace chimed in.

Kean let go of my hand then came up behind Cruz and Ace and hit the back of their heads. "Fuck you both."

He came back next to me and took my hand back into his grip. Everyone turned around to look us up and down. We didn't say anything and neither did they so there was this awkward silence for a couple minutes.

"So... are you and the fucktard dating yet or are we just gonna keep standing here staring at each other like weirdos." Cruz said with his usual sarcastic attitude.

"You do realize that the 'fucktard' is your girlfriends brother and can make you single whenever I want."

"But you love me! You wouldn't do that to me!" Cruz came up to Kean with his hands outstretched ready for a hug but Kean just stood there staring at him.

"Okay fine, leave me hanging."

While we all laughed at Kean and Cruz, I secretly was hoping they would forget about asking me and Keanu what was going on and we could just leave. Everyone could go their separate ways and then the girls would bombard me with questions in the car, but unfortunately after everyone stopped laughing Lucía decided she had something to say.

"No seriously guys are you dating or not I need an answer so I can know if life will be filled with depressed Cara or happy Cara."

"Yeah, same. I can't take Kean's random anger episodes anymore, it's starting to get annoying."

"Kean has that too Ace? Oh my gosh Cara always gets angry at everyone for the dumbest things. One time..."

Keanu rolled his eyes. Everyone was listening intently to Ace and Lucy talk about their encounters with 'angry Cara and Kean'.

"Hey guys! You want your answer or not?"

Everyone turned to look towards Kean and I and instead of just answering their question like a normal person, Kean decided to kiss me. In front of everyone.

I didn't get time to react because his lips were gone as fast as they came. Lucía and Kalani screamed. Keanu picked me up, ran to my car, opened the door, put me inside, and then somehow evaded Lucy and Lani's ambush. I guess the rest of the guys knew what was happening because they were already in the car and Kean drove off as fast as he could, but not before yelling out his car window.

"I'LL CALL YOU LATER BABYGIRL!"

I was laughing the whole time until I saw Lucy and Lani power walking towards my car. I forgot that I'd still have to deal with them.

"Okay chica you're telling us everything that happened in full detail and remember that spanish game I did that one time?" Lucy demanded as soon as she got into my car. 

"I wouldn't really call it a game..."

"Well we're doing that again."

"But I didn't even do anything this time!"

"Yeah but your boyfriend did and so you're paying the price."

"But-" She gave me the scariest death glare I've ever seen in my life and I knew if I didn't comply I'd be... bad.

"Wait but I don't understand spanish." Kalani was enjoying this I could tell. She's with Lucy and all her crazy torture games.

"It's okay, I'll translate. Anyways, Cara... storytime!"

I sighed, "Yes ma'am..."

"Qué?"

"Sí, señora..."
